This post was originally one of frustration. See, last night I was in a rather "blah" and down mood. Wanted to talk, have an actual conversation. However, the only person I was talking to was distracted by her boyfriend- which I don't blame her, boyfriends are generally have higher priority, lol, trust me I know, but I felt... near neglected, talked to only when remembered I was there. So, yeah I felt pretty down.
But, one decent conversation with someone I haven't talked to in months followed by 2 lengthy messages to Kaitlin and Sammi via myspace, and a lot of research (for me anyway) on Hell in the Bible, I feel 2 things: 1) Better. lol, much better. 2) Greatly saddened.. check my myspace blog for that one.
Notice, it's almost 5. Why am I awake? Heh, well, I'm not really tired at all. Too pumped from reading the Bible, thank the Lord.
The movie thing went well, on Tuesday. All in all, a great day I will never wish to repeat- let me explain. Earl and I left just before 8 in the morning, arriving in Portland 3½ hours later, and getting to the "set"/hotel at about noon. I go in, get directed by the hotel clerk to the second floor, the Cambridge/Oxford room/s. But.. they're both quite empty.
Turns out I had to wait 3 hours for people to arrive- and ANOTHER 3 hours before they even were ready to film one scene. A minute and a half scene at that. lol, it only took an hour or so to do. Got done about 7:40 (PM) and went back upstairs for about 40 minutes before they took us to another building for some food- goodness... Pizza. very yum.
We get back about 8:50, wait around, and about 9:05 I'm talking with the Extra Coordinator, and I ask when we can expect to go back and film the next scene, seeing how I was supposed to be able to go at 10. She could only say, "I really don't know, but probably not til after 10 anyway, so if you really need to, you can go ahead and go now." So, we do :p Leave Portland about 9:25, and pull into my driveway at 12:56 am. Didn't sleep til 3, lol.
Then comes today, a truly amazing day.
Woke up about 10, played wow a bit, but came to RHS about noon to say hi to Lori (she needed it and a hug), and to hang out a bit. Lunch was good. When it ended, I was walking with Lori to her class and my cousin Kellye (love her, lol, she's the "normal" cousin (and by that, I mean she's normal by my standards :P)) runs up to me- my not paying attention to her running up to me as I'm talking to Lori, holding an open strawberry milk box/thing infront of me- and Kellye jumps into me, strawberry milk going all over the two of us. lol, Lori keeps walking to class, laughing I assume at my misfortune, as I mock whine about getting milk all over me to Kellye. I lose track of Lori, but manage to find her class before the bell, give her a hug and tell her I'll see her at church.
Church... this is the amazing part. Mark (Christian, close friend, came to cell, has known since that Sunday, two Sunday's ago, that he needed to repent) was able to come, so we met up there just as worship started, so we made our way up to where Lori, Anna, and Becca were (and are always, heh) and we join in the worship. We sing, we dance, between songs I pray my heart out for Mark and Lori, and I swear, my body was tingling I was praying soo hard and meaningfully. We sit down, pray, take offering (I finally was able to give the offering I'd been saving since last thursday just for tonight!), and then a guest speaker, a Pastor from a Kennewick Church, starts his Sermon. And boy, my theory (of certain people coming to certain Sermons is NOT a coincidence, God planned that Sermon because He knew they'd come) was proven true! At the alter call at the end of the sermon, the Pastor made the call, talking about things that Mark knew were in his life and were wrong. As Mark left our seats, I could only smile as I knew God's Grace had moved him. I follow him up, we pray, and the crowd walks down to the prayer room where a cell leader talks with Mark, asks him if he knows what he just did- and Mark says yes, he knows, he just Rededicated his life to Christ! Oh Lord! It was AMAZING being RIGHT there, and praying with Mark and Cory (the cell leader).
After that, Mark and I headed up stairs, and I told Mark a brief summary of when I did the same only the week before, and how awesome it was he came, and how glad I was he made it. We go back into the sanctuary where Lori's singing and dancing her heart out, but at about 9 Mark says we needed to get going so he could get home, I give Lori, Anna and Becca hugs and we head off- Mark telling me, the Foursquare church is now his church! We drive back to my house, talking all the way about each others lives, our struggles, Breakthrough (Wednesday night at 4square) and Naz (Wednesday at Nazerene), and how amazing the night was. And we sit in my driveway for at least another 5 before my mom comes out and her and I come inside.
I tell you the Holy Spirit was with us tonight! OHH IT WAS GREAT! Man... just months ago, I would have never dreamed I'd be so excited about Church. Now, I can never imagine not being so excited!
