(no subject)
i havent updated in a while so this might be a long one
the end of 2007:
- christmas was good, i got a couple things i wanted. well, actually i only wanted a couple things so i think i got everything i wanted.
- brandons wedding went well... everybody looked really good, naturally. it was tight gettin all dressed up for something important, i'm looking forward to everyone elses weddings now too - i just hope i'm in them so i get to wear a tux again :)
- i had a wonderful time on new years eve, mainly because of this one super cute girl (with dreadlocks) didn't see that coming did you
sports:
- panthers season is over, john fox said he wants to make moves in the offseason to win a championship so lets see if that happens - and i hereby officially take back everything bad i said about jake delhomme. we need him.
- the bobcats fell off. me jeff adam and shlay went to the bobcats/bulls game a couple days ago (and sat about 10 rows off the floor thanks to adam) but we struggled to finish the game... kinda sums up the season so far, side note: celtics are bangin out wins - its awesome go bobcats go suns go celtics fuck the spurs
- i was kinda pissed App didn't win the pontiac game changing play of the year thing, but that 15 latteral play DID pretty much change the game as much as corey's blocked field goal did... whatever app state rocks shit
- i'm happy LSU just won the national championship (out of the 2 teams that played for it) cause ohio state is constantly over-rated. you don't beat a top 20 team all year and you lose to an unranked team, just to embarass yourself AGAIN in the national championship game... when are they gonna learn to stop giving them credit and putting them in the championship game? the SEC truly is superior, and i'm an ACC fan
- final sports note - fuck the patriots. i dont care who wins the superbowl as long as it isnt the patriots, i would like to say that i would really like to see peyton vs. brett favre though
school stuff:
- i graduate in may, finally. took a good 5 years but i wouldnt trade the time at App for anything in the world. i'm so ready to be done with school, and my sister is just now starting. HAH. anyway when i get done i'll be a scientist, so all of you can tell people that you know a scientist (and some of you can say you slept with one) :)
- i dont know if we got out of our lease for the summer or not, if not we'll stay in boone for the summer then move back down to charlotte in august. i hope we get out of it though, nothing against the town of boone, nc, its just that i'm ready to move on with my life and be more of a grown up some... get my own place, buy a car (pontiac G6), get a real job, maybe find myself a girl... we'll see how it plays out (oh by the way, while home for christmas i came to the conclusion that i could live at home with my parents forever and be fine with it if my sister wasn't here too, but only if my brother stayed here too)
things i'm looking forward to: (in the order they happen)
- the superbowl
- my 23rd birthday... cause the new smash brothers comes out then
- the carter III coming out
- spring break (not mine though, someone elses)
- making progress in my research
- graduation
- summer... cause detox comes out then (allegedly)
i guess it wasn't TOO long of an update... i bet only like 3 people actually read the whole thing though
i gotta get my sleep routine back on track so i guess i'll go to bed now
