(no subject)
so, i can't sleep because my back is killing me and yeah - i know it's wednesday, but i decided to finally update about this previous weekend
Zach came up to visit on thursday, he got here in time for our football game which we won 25 - 6. strong end to a so so season, i'm looking forward to the playoffs. friday rolls around and i take my organic chemistry test, doing poorly to say the least. i get out of classes for the week and find myself somewhat bored... so i lay around and play some
friday evening comes, zach david jessica lil john kramer and i decide to go out to eat, but we don't know where. we're standing in front of subway trying to figure out where to eat and jessica sarcastically comments 'can we stand here for 10 more minutes and discuss it please'... so we look at our watch and stand there for exactly 10 more minutes, just to spite her. we end up deciding on new china buffet to eat, which was good however kramer didn't eat because he's allergic to half the stuff they had there, so we pick up some wendys for him on the way back (he ordered out of the bed of zach's truck, it was quite humerous)
friday night, after shaggy and nick had arrived, sebastian comes in the room and says we're going to ashley's to drink. we (being myself, carmen, david zach jessica erica kramer sebby zach nick and shaggy) get to ashley's and ashley isn't even there - awkward. her room mates have people over and they say we can come in... but everybody ends up hanging out on the porch in the cold. carmen and zach decide that they are hungry, so we go to huddle house to eat. it was good, believe it or not. i pick up me zach and carmens check, seeing as how it is now zach's birthday, he shouldn't have to pay... and we head home.
nick ends up sleeping in seb's bed, carmen goes to her room, zach sleeps in david's bed because david stayed with jessica and shaggy sleeps on the floor in his sleeping bag...
saturday everyone wakes up around noon and we decide to play basketball before the football game... but nick and shaggy left their shoes in shags car so i bike up to horn in the west to get them... we go play ball for a little while and throw the frisbee in the gym, i really hurt my back when i caught the frisbee in an awkward position, i think i pulled something... but it's happened before and it takes about three weeks to heal
the football game starts at 3:30, nick and shaggy stay behind to watch the USC game so we call periodically to get the score from them and tell them the score of our game... we left at the end of the third quarter, but i know we won. we got back to find that shaggy and nick both cut their hair... and shaggy is now completly hairless on top... sometime after the game we all decide we're hungry and hit up golden corral, $12.07 but totally worth it (it was my first time going).
saturday evening, zach's 20th birthday, zach leaves to see some chick in charlotte, and nick tells us we can go to this chicks cabin that is here for the weekend that he went to college with. random, i know - but it was something to do. kramer and shaggy drive us (us being myself, carmen, nick kramer shaggy will lil john and david) and on the way we get somewhat lost... we're looking for clark court and we see clark circle, so naturally we pass it, turn around and make the turm... but as we make the turn some drunk guy comes flying up behind shaggy in his car and swirves into the other lane, kramer makes half of the turn and the guy luckily sees him and swirves even more, almost into a street sign... then the guy pulls it together and just takes off down the road...
we turn up clark circle and pass a house... the road turns to gravel... we keep going up the side of the mountain and the path gets more and more sketch. nick calls the girl we're going to see and asks if there is a tree down in the path on the way to the cabin and other specifics of the path... and we end up at the top of a very large hill, she said she saw lights on the way up so we continue... and she tells us to go all the way to the top then down a little more... so we do... and we end up 4 wheeling into a christmas tree patch.
we figure this isnt right, so we turn around and fly down the mountain in kramers bronco, and shaggy crawls down the mountain in his suzuki... we finally discover that there is a clark court less than half a mile down the road from clark circle and we follow the girl in her jeep up to the cabin... seeing a fallen tree along the way and getting to the top and going down some, just as we did on clark circle - weird. we hang out around the bonfire for a while, it's cold but the fire keeps us warm... lil john brought some stuff... but no one had a lighter which made me very dissapointed... but playing with the fire was fun and hanging out with everyone was cool
we got back at like 1 from the cabin, nick stayed in david's bed, david stayed with jessica again, carmen stayed with me and shaggy slept on the floor again...
sunday was me and carmen's 1 month anniversary, and we got together at 7:30 in the morning which is very weird, because for some reason we were both awake at 7:30 in the morning so it was exactly 1 month... and no one else was awake... so... yeah. later that day nick told me that we woke him up with our little 'sex-capade' above him... i thought it was kinda amusing, that's the sacrifice for sleeping in the bed
anyway we all woke up at noonish and the panthers game came on at 1... needless to say we watched it (we being me carmen shaggy nick david jessica will erica and lil john) and the panthers won - in dramatic fashion 21 - 20. shaggy and nick left to go home about an hour after the game was over and i cleaned up a little while david was in audio lab and the room was empty
insaniquarium is still insane, i think kramer downloaded it and is playing it too. my screensaver collects 6000+ shells nightly
i think i might go to durham this weekend with carmen, or with everybody else to the state fair - either way i'll probably end up staying at carmens house... i'm looking forward to it. i'll probably update about next weekend too...
