She has been almost unbearable with her constant whining and crying. Mike tried to be nice and let her go outside, with a leash of course. As silly as that sounds, if she were to bite or scratch anyone on base, they would take her and cut out her brain (checking for rabies) seeing as her shots are just expired. Luckily she goes to the vet on the 16th.
Well, when he tried to put the harness on her, she hissed and tried to bite him. You have no idea how old that gets. Lets just say Oreo now knows that is never the right action to take. He finally got the harness on her, and decided its staying on. She is really moody and trying to look sad and sympathetic, but its nice to see her not screaming and crying. She sulks, but hopefully she'll get used to it all soon and deal with it...
Are cats always this difficult? I don't remember having problems when we were kids with our cats. Should I get her a friend, another cat perhaps? Maybe its because she is still adjusting to living with us(she was almost a year when we took her) but damn, its been almost two months now.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I have volunteer work today. I'm ok with this I guess, not big yes or no as to wanting to continue this.
Keri comes soon! I'm trying to build up my courage of driving the standard, we'll see...its not so easy.
