Tomorrow is the last day of my orientation. Hopefully soon I'll get my Sojourn permit(cabaneri have to fingerprint me first) and I can apply for a job. Until then, I'm thinking of all the volunteer work I can do JUST so I won't be bored out of my mind at the house.
Looking forward to getting back to school. Seriously. And thank you NMCRS for your little speech about offering to pay up to 50% of my tuition. Don't worry, I'm going to work at their thrift store or something to be fair.
Tomorrow is our orientation class trip to Catania. The Market we go! I am nervous, especially since I really haven't studied up on my conversational Italian, or anything. I figure I won't be buying anything anyway, so I'll just make sure I memorize how to tell them I'm just looking. Thats what I like about this culture, they ask if you need help (Prego) and if you say "I'm just looking" they will not bother you until you beckon them back. Granted, the whole space bubble issue grades on my nerves, and I just don't think I'll ever get used to the staring.
I went to see Ocean's 13 today with Mike. I enjoyed it, but was sad to say it was much more predictable than the last two. The other ones you had to do a bit of guessing.
