Psycho housewife.
Currently I'll let myself be called this, seeing as I'm still jobless. That is going to change very very soon. With no buses coming here and no car, I LITERALLY am stuck here all day with nothing to do but read, eat, tv, eat, and read. Even reading gets boring sometimes, especially when you realize ITALY is outside your window and you are sitting inside.
I'm also going a bit nuts on Mike these days. Homesickness/boredom/anger and everything else all piled into one and he is the only human I see for days. Poor guy.
But, I'm sorry...why sweep the hall and just pile the dirt in the corner? Why not just bend over and sweep it up into the dustpan???!!!?? It takes two more seconds! Why rinse off a plate and have it ready for the dishwasher and just set it back on the counter?? It takes two more seconds to put it IN THE DISHWASHER!
I think I'm going crazy. My paranoia makes me think the Italians are poisoning us. How can water, BOTTLED water at that, be less than a quarter? In the states you pay damn near 1.50 these days! I pay that much for 3-5 liters of it. Course, they bottle it here, seeing as they have a fresh spring and all...
Yes, I said Liters. I'm converting to the system we Americans shy away from. Goodbye inches and feet and miles, hello kilometers and liters. And no, no more farenheit. I will miss that a bit.
