so i bought a car today. :)
it's a 2005 volkswagen jettta, used of course. it has only 29,000 miles on it, which is good, considering i am going to be putting 500 miles on it a week. it's silver, and lovely, and i love it already even though i've driven it once.
however, i need a name for her. i've decided she feels like a her, and i would like to give her a sort of dorky sciency name in honor of my new job. i can't think of any female scientists other than marie curie, and i don't particularly like the name marie.
anyone got any ideas? i am also open to non-sciency names, or names that aren't actually real names but derivatives of science terms (chris came up with tessie, a shortening of tesla).
