People care what I think, I have a prestigious blog, sir!
Every episode of Party Down makes me love Roman more. Seriously.
The family birthday celebration went off without a hitch. I had delicious tacos and cake, and good conversations, and no drama from the family for once. Always a plus.
The present low down (I am not ashamed of bragging):
A Kodak Zi6 pocket video camera.
http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml?pq-path=13063&pq-locale=en_US&_requestid=3870 This was from Uncle Matt. I totally had thrown it out as a small possibility, but he got it for me and it's fucking aweome. I may use it someday to do a video post for LJ. So you could all see what a tard I am.
An 8gb memory card for said camera.
A 40 dollar Borders Gift card (I went there after the party, and they were having a sale! I made out with both seasons of Extras, the new book by Chuck Palahniuk, and the new book by Rachel Cohn. Okay, fourteen dollars of it was from my own pocket, but still.)
A 25 dollar gift card for iTunes (Uncle Eric's attempts to get me to download music legally.)
A LED candle. It smells like vanilla!
And my sister and her boyfriend bought tickets to take me to see Incubus in July! SCORE!
So I kind of made out like a bandit this year.
And afterwards, my grandma and I went to Borders, and then the movies. We saw Seventeen Again which was surprisingly good. Originally, we went to see it cause it was on at the right time, and I love, love, love Matthew Perry. But it was surprisingly good. I was actually impressed with Zac Effron as an actor, and I wasn't expecting that. It was also filled with nerd references, like speaking in elvish. So that had me giggling alot. Not everything I see has to be films of high caliber, okay?
Also, I saw the preview for Hayden Panettiere's new movie, I Love You Beth Cooper. It looks silly, but fun. I'll probably go see it.
Not tired yet. Maybe I'll take a bath and read. And then maybe do some fic writing. Maybe I'll try to use this good mood to write some fluff or crack for once! Wouldn't that be some craziness?
But first, more cake!
