Elle stopped in midsentence when she noticed her father’s head ripped open, brain removed. She felt her stomach twist in disgust. Sylar had been here to come after her father first. It was a personal attack for what she had helped him become. Why else would he go after Bob Bishop when there was a buffet of powers for him to feast on in Level Five. She felt sick, and guilty, and her eyes welled with tears. Her father hadn’t deserved to die for her sins. It wasn’t his fault. If Sylar wanted to punish her, he had certainly succeeded.
