Now this is emo-kink. I love the desperation and his possessiveness over the memory to the point of being haunted. I think it's so sad to know that a moment that still wasn't completely theirs. A different kind of haunting and it was so mutually desperate. What started as solace...and he can't escape except for his own reliving of it so intimately. It's very Angel.

I'm so glad you liked it!. Haunting and desperation were the two emotions I was really trying to go for with this, so I'm glad it worked for you. Angel can be a tricky character to write, so I'm always a little nervous doing so.

I wasn't sure what emo-kink was when I started but I wanted to read it because it hit so many of my own fic kinks like missing scenes and Angel mourning Cordelia. This was just so beautiful. You can feel the sadness, the desperation. It really is an amazing piece. Thank you for writing it.

I hadn't really heard of the term before seeing it pop up in the Five Acts list of kicks and scenarios, honestly. But I had always wanted to try writing something like this, and this seemed like just as good of a chance as any to do so.
