(no subject)
In a completely different world, I would go for the junior analyst position. But after a couple of long hard thinking days, I am not going to take it! It pays well, but how happy will I be there? I had been there before, it's full of uptight goody two shoes people I am sure I won't get along with. Is it so wrong to want to work with peers? I think I want to be in school for the rest of my life.
It's the only thing I know right now, it's secure. I know that once I leave here, I'll be a wreck. I don't want to leave Janie, Mike, Misty, Tiff, Kate, and especially my Jason. Oh and Marcy!! Who can forget my little mongrel? These have been the greatest times of my life.
I've been liking the people I work with, and might actually start hanging out with some of them. I'm at work most of the time, why not?
Manda is the most amazing girl I have ever met. She's dealing with some pretty heavy personal issues right now, but she is the strongest, most beautiful person I know. I admire her so much. We went to the zoo, (the monkeys are my favorite) had lunch at a little place called Claire De Lune- THE cutest loungy place. Of course, Ben & Jerry's for some ice cream, went back to Dan's place for a movie, then dinner out at In & Out. No matter what people tell me, the fries still suck, they always will haha. I love you, man! ;)
It has been so cold lately, it just makes me want to go to the snow. Misty and I were talking about going to Lake Tahoe sometime next month, wouldn't that be the perfect time! If she and I can ever take any days off.
It is so funny that I have no idea where I am going to spend Christmas. I just thought of that. There was no talk about it, so it's all up in the air.
TIme to go Christmas shopping! Not that I really like it, but shopping for other people is good. I don't like the crowds, especially the old ladies shoving you along while you are rubbing shoulders with a total stranger. I hate when things are on sale, it's like a free for all. Crowds, here I come. Blah!
