This is a rant, but I'll keep it short.
Antibacterial Windex: what the hell.
Now, in addition to all the bacteria-killing products available to our insane germophobic society -- the hand soaps, dish soaps, surface detergents, hand sanitizers, air sanitizers -- we can have windows 99.9% free of bacteria*! While antibacterials can be absolutely indispensable in certain applications, those applications do not include every surface of your life. Surgeons need them. Hospitals need them. Maybe general practitioners.
But the rest of us -- all we're doing is providing selection pressure for antibiotic-resistant bugs. Woo!
