(no subject)
ive tried three times to write this update now i will actually do it
alright so a new year, a new start? a clean slate? i guess ive never been much for the new year. for the majority of my life the year has revolved around the school year so really a year begins and ends in september.
my prebreak predictions were correct i did hang out with jenn at the choraliers concert, hung out a lot with shane, mullet and a bit with funi bryan and bryon. lets just say all the predictions i made for the break were right. does that actually surprise anyone?
resolutions? like i said before im not really much into this new year thing. i think if anything start working out more, make sure i find a volleyball team (i want to play so bad), be a bit more outgoing, and probably stop attaching myself to girls who show me a little attention.
lets recap this last year, then again for those of you who actually care you've prob already read most of the back entries and if not and if you actually cared enough you could prob just go back and read them.
but anyway:
ACADEMICS
kicked my senior year's ass
5's on both of my ap's (calc and physics)
graduated in the top 15% of my class
graduated with all the bells and whistles (national honor society tassel, honor student cord)
3.8 my first trimester of college taking second year classes
EXTRACURRICULAR
Finished my Eagle had the ceremony in Aug
started the "Schwa" and had our performance which kicked ass
volunteering at the campus radio station
singing in the chorus here on campus
joined the ieee
WORK
Continued at Best Buy got 2 raises
promotion to temporary supervisor since thanksgiving
secured a job as a tutor for a whopping 2 hours a week
another summer at boyhaven as archery director
RELATIONSHIPS
i dont know if i actually want to go here but...
actually went to a school social event (prom) with alli (i still dont have pictures)
fucked up 2, 3, maybe more relationships (not surprising)
Thats all i can think of right now.
moving right along, goals for the next year:
ACADEMICS
Go to as few fizix lectures as possible and still get a 4 this quarter
EXTRACURRICULAR
i want to play some damn volleyball
get my own show on the radio station or get to be like student engineering manager or whatever (they get paid)
get into one of the a cappella groups next school year
WORK
still deciding on this one
do i work for best buy here or go for more tutoring? i can get into the walk in hours next quarter if i want which is more hours and better pay
go back to boyhaven and be assistant prog. dir. or archery dir again or harass john till he promotes me to senior?
RELATIONSHIPS

next topic of conversation: why ipods suck
1. I paid $260 for my iriver the mini ipods are 250 and the 20's i believe are $300
2. the iriver has 20 gb's.
3. the iriver has a color display
4. the iriver can display pictures the only ipod that can do that is the 60gig photo ipod which is like $600
5. i dont have to fuck around with itunes which funi mullet bryan jim and i had a lengthy conversation y itunes suck
6. the buttons are better on the iriver then the wheely thing on the ipod
7. theres an fm tuner on the iriver
7. it also has a voice recorder and capabilities to record from the radio
finally but most important
7. the ipods are made by apple enough said
i think im done give me a few days ill find myself another reason to rant
