RAR. I just typed a big, long, drawn-out reply to this and LJ ERASED IT. Grr.
Ok, let's try that again.
1. Jay got your text yesterday and PS - you're hilarious and we love you.
2. Graduation can be hard when you're the one left behind, but next year you'll be the one leaving! Don't stress it - friends will stay friends no matter how far away they are.
3. Eff drama. Not the kind where you're acting on stage, but the kind where the world is your stage. Eff drama queens and their kind.
4. That "best friends" feeling is overrated. Nothing beats a true friend. Someone who's there for you when you need them (and when you don't). They're the ones you want to pay attention to. Best friends don't have to live close enough for you to make a tin can/string phone to talk on late at night (especially in the age of cell phones). They just have to be worthy of your time and attention. High school is weird that way. Sometimes you can tell who's gonna break your heart (and you just don't care), and sometimes it's not so easy to tell. Either way, though, you end up with an experience under your belt, and a new perspective on relationships.
