Now that THAT's out of the way, did anyone else noticed the possible homage to trippy young adult fiction novel A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle in the pilot episode of Superjail!?
Every time I watch the pilot episode or see FANART OF THE WARDEN HUMPING THIS CREATURE (again, you guys are awesome,) I think of Madeleine's novel. I apologize in advance if this, like the Alex Grey/time police winged-eye-mouth-creature, has been pointed out before.
I will present the evidence!
Exhibit A: The Superjail! Monster we are all acquainted with.
Exhibit B: The cover art of the A Wrinkle in Time edition I owned as a child.
Coincidence? Homage? In either case: PURE AWESOMENESS.
