so its a four day weekend and what do i do? i get grounded for a week or two for talking back to my dad yesterday. but i def won that arguement. anyway, after yelling all last night about how our computer is too slow and crap, i bought a laptop that i was supposed to get for my birthday 5 months ago. so by next week i'll have it so that should be good. i did a couple of those college applications and junk so i'm being productive during my time spent here at home for four days. being stuck at home made me think about a few things, you know, the "what ifs?". what if i didnt listen to my parents when they said i had to go to high tech? what if i continued my soccer and baseball careers? what if i went to my home high school? i looked at some of my old year books and stuff from middle school. "most likely to succeed", "most athletic", "student of the year", "most artistic", "math award", and the list went on and on. i didnt know i had that many awards. i saw a couple of my old art pieces from my art class. damn was i good. i tried to draw again but i've lost the touch. oh well, all in the past.
so i'm watching the yankee red sox game. not as intense as i thought it would be but still a good game. i've got a crap load of school stuff to do and a ton of work for my ceremony in two months. i was supposed to go to the brookdale soccer practice this afternoon but the coach said it was probably going to be cancelled. this mentorship thing is pretty cool. on wednesday i can go to games and stuff and fridays i can watch the team practice. so i dont really have to go to mentorship in the morning so those are free periods for me. what it comes down to is 4 fit periods a week, 4 free periods of doing absolutely nothing, and an easy senior year.
i've covered past, present and now for the future. colleges:
1. wheaton
2. geneva
3. tcnj
4. rutgers
5. stockton (back-up)
rotc sounds pretty cool so its a big possibility. next sunday is the switchfoot concert at six flags. i have an extra ticket so whoever wants it gets it. right now i could be at a concert with eric and alice but my grounded situation has prevented me from attending such an event. but next week is still on. and so is the week after. AUTUMN BLAZE! zach, dan and i went to the newsboys concert last year and it was awesome so we want to go see them again. i probably could get tickets tomorrow from my youth pastor but i wouldnt count on it. last tuesday i kinda beat him up in a small wrestlnig match that HE STARTED at the AWANA opening night. lol, some of my kidergarten kids were like, "hey mommy, thats my teacher beating up the pastor!"
yeah, so if anyone wants to go to either concert tell me. i hate going to these things by myself.
