The requested package from my brother arrived. I once again have batteries for my MP3 player. His letter indicates that everyone at home is well, although he does not understand how I can be living with Pegasus while he negotiates with Pegasus. When I write him again, I shall tell him that it is best not to think about it too much.
Leon also sent the other creature comforts I requested. However, I was quite surprised to find a digital camera as well. He taped a note to it asking me to take pictures of the island. He wishes to see where I am living now. I am to mail the SD card back to him when it is full. I will be glad to do this, and shall request copies of the pictures sent back.

Mother sent something as well. She seems not to have abandoned this notion of marrying me off. All I can imagine is that she thinks I will be content to return home if the right rose is dangled before me to dazzle me. She has included dossiers on several ladies she thinks will meet me approval, and she asks that I either return home to meet them or inform her of which has captured my interest so that she can arrange a visit here.
I shall look over what she has sent, but I doubt I shall do more than that. I simply have no interest in dating. My life is full enough without adding either a long distance relationship or a woman who would not know how to cope with the oddities of this place.
