I thought not?? After all, people still go to work! Which is, I do think, terribly silly, as if I were the first lady, I'd ask my husband to declare that the only thing that should happen on Valentine's day is the sending of flowers and love! Also, that those rubber croc shoes should be considered treason.
Oh, I mistook your meaning, my dear, forgive me. If we had nothing at all to do on Valentine's during the day, however, whatever would we look forward to once we left work or school and returned home for the evening?
But I would not want to disappointment my employer!
Of course! My favorite things list, my most disliked things list, my favorite foods list, my non-favorite foods list, my things to do list, my things to give Prudence to do list, my attractive Tale list, my not-so-attractive-but-I-am-very-positive-they-have-inner-beauty list, my husband list, my places to see list, my favorite holiday list, my favorite state list, my favorite actors list, my favorite actresses list, my things to buy Jeremiah list, and more!
Valentine's isn't a public holiday?

I wasn't aware those things had a name.

They do. And are my fourth most disliked things!

Perhaps a work day where the goal is, in fact, to accomplish as little as possible?
You keep a running list?
