Time for a Break
Well, hi everybody.
Haven't posted in almost a week... but i've been really busy. So i suppose that makes up for it.
Nine-weeks ends tomorrow.... And i have a D in WHAP, and a C in Latin.
I've broughten my grades up so high though compared to what they were. Latin is the only one thats gone down. Probably because i was to focused on my other classes. I don't know what happened to me this quarter... I just stopped caring.
It was like suddenly the time it took to actually sit down and do my homework wasn't nearly worth the energy doing it. And the consequences were worth not spending that energy. I think i'm over my funk though.
I hope i am.
Tonight was nice, and productive. I went to dinner with my grandparents and my mom. And after dinner i learned the intro to "Under the Bridge" on guitar.
Its still choppy... but i'm not exactly used to playing guitar. I love that intro though... so i'll probably play it enough to get profficient at it. That shouldn't take too long.
I'm playing my first show tomorrow down at the Belvedere. I'm actually not positive that i'll be playing. But from the way it looks right now, i will be.
See heres the thing... Me, Nolan, and my friend Alex who plays guitar are gonna play it tomorrow. But we've never even played together. Alex and I have, but never with Nolan... So basically, we're gonna go over to Nolans tomorrow right after school, jam for a couple hours, then basically go wing it and hope that we can get everything together.
Shit. This is gonna be really hard.
We definatley didn't have time to get our own shit together, so we're doing covers.

-Killing in the Name (Rage Agaisnt the Machine)
We all know Santeria. Alex and I know Killing in the Name. Hopefully Nolan will be able to learn it, memorize it, and be able to play it in front of everyone in 2 hours.
Holy. Shit.
Also! We have no vocalist. I asked Zack about it, he's unsure about it, which sucks... because i honestly don't think anybody else will have the stage appearance or knowledge about the songs/bands to pull it off good. But if he doesn't want to/can't then he can't, and we just won't have a vocalist.
