Things have been decent.
Work. Decent.
Home. Pretty good.
Tim and I moved out of our apartment. We'll be looking at houses beginning in June. Sure, we probably won't find anything I'll fall in love with right away, but that's why we'll be just looking...you know, just in case.
I'm not sure about the neighborhoods yet. I'd rather have him closer to work than me. I love to drive, and I like that alone time I have in the morning to bitch about everything in my head before I get to work.
I'd really like a little place in Burbank, you know, above the blvd...Glenoaks I think it is...
I used to house-sit for a co-worker who lived in that general area and I LOVED it. Tim did too, so thats good. The only thing is, I'd have to calculate the commute to work and take that into consideration. There really is no fun way to get to L.A./Bev. Hills-ish area from Burbank. Hell. If we find an amazing house w/ a deal thats too good to pass up, maybe I can just move to Warner Brothers? They're in Burbank. I like that area a lot more than over here wherever I am. Century City I guess. Century City used to be completely owned by Fox. William Fox = 20th Century Fox = Century City. Now there's just a bunch of buildings including MGM, AIG and the CAA bldg. where theres always movie stars wandering around or having business meetings. Theres a Cofee Bean in there that I always go to. Anyways, from the time between now and "house hunting", we'll be focusing on paying off every bill we have including my car and Tim's student loans, and saving of course. What a relief that'll be.
I'm looking forward to seeing Christine and Erwin on Thursday. I miss our hangout sessions. I can't believe its been so long. I guess thats what happens when you work full-time AND go to school AND try to keep a steady schedule at the gym. Is this how it will be forever? I sure hope not.
One of my friends from Stamford moved back to L.A. recently. I like hanging out with people who aren't from L.A. They always have the best ideas of what to do. Bonfires, for example. Who ever knew a bonfire could be so much fun? Its certainly the people who make it fun...and those corn-fed shirtless boys aren't bad to look at either. aye.
I wonder if Warner Brothers would pay me more than I'm getting now...
I wonder if they'd be more fun to work with.
Theres something about this city. Everyone is an asshole. I feel like I'm turning into an asshole. Or maybe I've always been one. Who knows. I still don't necessarily fit in though. I don't own a Porsche. I certainly don't care to own one either. Is it sad that my ideal car is the Volvo SUV? Theres a difference between ideal car and dream car though. My dream car is a Corvette Callaway. I swear, if I could, I'd have sex with that car. Its just gorgeous. Gorgeous.
My Cinema class is cancelled for tomrorow night. I'll be using that time to catch up on homework. I've been doing pretty well in school, unbelievably so. I haven't gotten any grades in my Cinema class yet, but I've had all my tests graded in my Legal class. Surprisingly I've gotten 100% on every test I've taken, with the exception of the one or two I missed, which shouldn't be that big of a deal in the end seeing as I've gotten 100% on everything else. I surprise the shit out of myself, I swear.
Friday I'm going to see NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK in SANTA BARBARA. I'm s-t-o-k-e-d. Any excuse to go to Santa Barbara is great. This will definitely be a great night. Just great. I haven't had Freebirds in years either. Hopefully that'll be a stop.
Alright, I think I've met my post quota. I also think I've wasted enough time away from what I'm actually supposed to be doing, so chao.
