I took the entrance exam for the college I want to go to just now. It's not really an entrance entrance exam; it just determines if you need remedial classes. I was worried about the Algebra portion, because I completely fail at algebra in every way. My brain just does not compute letters and numbers together.
So I go in there, and the lady says "The test is not timed. It is in 3 parts. Do not rush, but make sure to complete all the sections." When I finish, I'm like "OHMYGOD I missed something!", because everyone else was still on the Algebra part, which was part 1.
The lady reviews my test with me and says "You're going to need some remedial algebra courses, but you didn't do horribly on that part," I said, "Yeah I figured I would need some algebra refresher..." and she said "But as an English teacher, I am impressed that you got a perfect score on the writing and grammar sections."
HELL YEAH PERFECT SCORES.
I'm going for English, so I don't really care about the algebra part. I'm just glad I still kick ass at English. GRAMMAR NAZI WHAT.
