Doctor Who 4x13 Blah blah whatnot WITH SPOILERIFIC SPOILERS
Hi, my name is Kari and I actually ENJOYED the Doctor Who finale.
I mean, yes, RTD totally performed massive fanservice for everyone in one way or another, and it REALLY FUCKING SUCKS what happened to Donna, but COME ON. THAT SHIT WAS DELICIOUS.
Let me count the ways:
01| THE JACK/DONNA. WHO CALLED IT? YEAH THAT WOULD BE ME AND SOME OF MY FRIENDS, BECAUSE WE ARE AWESOME.
02| NAKED!DOCTOR. This episode gets at LEAST three stars simply for that. Yes, I'm shallow. No, I ain't bovvered.
03| DOCTORDONNA. DOCTORMOTHERFUCKINGDONNA. THAT WAS INSANELY AMAZING. Donna Noble WAS technically a Time Lord, so fandom mostly got it right. She KICKED ASS as a Time Lord, holy shit. I think I was more excited over that than the...
04| DOCTOR/ROSE KISS THAT WASN'T FORGOTTEN OR CASSANDRA IN DISGUISE. OH how I screamed. Seriously. I was waiting for it from the very beginning of the episode, and I kept going "COME ON DOCTOR!" and I fully expected Rose to run at him when he was leaving the TARDIS to face the Daleks and just eat his face off, but I AM HAPPY WITH THE WAY IT WENT. I need to watch that again because I totally missed it for my own "YES! *PUNCHES AIR* YES!"
05| Dalek Caan. He was GREAT. I love his crazy crack manner.
06| Davros was a HELLUVA villian. And fucking crazy.
07| JACK. JACKIE. MICKEY. SARAH JANE. MARTHA. K9!!! K9!!!!!!!
08| The complete fangasm that was the entire family flying the TARDIS. God I was smiling so much it was probably ridiculous.
09| TWO DOCTORS. TWO TENNANTS? I'LL BE OVER HERE IN MY BUNK.
10| THE MUSIC. THE MUSIC WAS EVEN AMAZING.
Come on people. I fucking loved this.
I will admit that I shed many a tear over Donna's fate. I started to kind of tear up when we see Bad Wolf Bay. I was like "OHHHHH FUCK NOT THIS SHIT AGAIN." and prepared myself for a tearfest. Rose standing in the middle of the two Doctors was "YOU LUCKY BITCH CAN I STAB YOU? NO WAIT YOU'RE AWESOME. BUT I AT LEAST KIND OF WANT TO PUNCH YOU IN THE FACE FOR BEING A LUCKY BITCH, YOU LUCKY BITCH."
So I was sad, and then I was like "FUCK YOU RTD!" because we still don't hear the Doctor ACTUALLY SAY "I love you". He's an asshole, that RTD. You know he was sitting back cackling going "MUAHAHA MARVEL IN MY AWESOME ABILITY TO PISS OF MY FANS, MUAHAHA..."
Then I screamed @ the Doctor/Rose kiss. OMGYES. AFTER SO LONG. YES!
But then I was sad when Rose turned around and pinstripe!doctor was gone. :/ Poor pinstripe!doctor...he's still alone.
AND DONNA! I will never be able to see an icon/whatever of her again without a bit of a D: feeling. DAMN THAT SUCKED FOR HER. & her goodbye to the Doctor was DDDD: X A MILLION. Poor Doctor. :/ WILF, MAN. WILF OWNED THAT LAST SCENE THERE. HOLY SHIT THE WRITING IN THAT WAS SAD AS HELL.
But, this has cemented Donna Noble as being THE MOST BAMF COMPANION TO EVER BAMF AND COMPANION. Nothing can trump DoctorDonna.
So, next season? Companion? Jenny y/y/mfy?
Also, I'll be the first to say it: CATHERINE TATE FOR ELEVEN.
