Tip for the Week: Discount the 1st thing that comes to mind. And the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th - get the obvious out of the way. Surprise yourself.
Awww, but as far as I'm concerned one of the pleasures of writing is finding fun ways to execute rather predictable storylines. :) If I were trying to create a lasting masterwork, this would be excellent advice, though. I suppose for those of you getting ready to tackle NaNo (which of you is that?) it might be a very good thing to keep in mind!
Writing is slow but not non-existent this week, which is good! I finally finished a story and am beginning to embark on a very long story...but considering the number of fic exchanges I'm planning on doing, it might stay in the delicious planning stages a while longer. I'm not complaining. How about you?
