It's getting toward fic exchange season! I saw a lot of comics fandoms being nominated at yuletide, which made me happy. Soon we shall all be inundated with fic prompts and the terror of writing a present for someone you probably don't know well! The boostle comm is debating whether to do an exchange as well, so if you'd participate in that go and encourage them! And the World's Finest Fic Exchange should be taking prompts very soon for Superman/Batman gen and slash...
Today's Suggestion: Putting it on paper lets you start fixing it. If it stays in your head, a perfect idea, you'll never share it with anyone.
I'll be honest, there are a few stories that I would almost prefer to stay a perfect idea in my head than be exposed to the cruel realities of editing and preparing for public consumption, but the advice is sound. I've had a relatively good week--lots of things I want to write, not enough time to write them, but when I do find the time it goes smoothly and I feel happy, which is all I can ask for! How about you guys? Any perfect ideas you're thinking of bringing out into the light?
