Blake's life right now is a crystal stair. On the path to a great beginning, life is too good to be true. With an incredibly loving family, the man of his dreams and his career about to take off, Blake is at the top of life’s tower as he’s about to start his freshman year of college. All of that is about to change.
His family will turn their back on him. The man he thought loved him will abandon him and break his heart. The people that have supported him will lose faith in him and soon, Blake will lose everything and everyone he holds dear to him. With no one to turn to, a broken heart and no will to live, drugs will be the only way to bypass his pain; love will become impossible to feel and there will be no one to keep him from destroying himself. In a downward spiral of self-destruction, the path Blake chooses to take will ultimately lead to his recovery or his downfall. In the end, heartbreaking brillance or the simple stages of failure will determine if Blake rises...or falls.
