So I figured out my classes until I graduate. Originally I had planned on taking 4 classes Summer I semester and 2 classes Summer II semester but because of lack of funds I could only take 2 classes for the whole summer and I thought it would really mess up my timeframe but no...pretty much no matter what I do I'm graduating Dec 2010 no matter what AND my final semester has easy breezy classes and only a 12 credit semester. Score!
I'm so excited for the potential grad schools I'm checking out. I really really love the University of Colorado @ Boulder's M.A. in Communication because it combines history, communication, journalism, and politics(my four academic LOVES) but go figure it isn't the best for me financially. A lot of other schools offer a tuition waiver for a T.A. position PLUS a salary of around $15,000 a year but University of CO-Boulder act like they barely offer very many T.A. positions to begin with. I see some universities hand them out like candy along with funding, while others barely offer anything if ANY funding. hmm...like COLUMBIA and NORTHWESTERN.
