Savior Chapter 10 (Part 2)

Dec 06, 2009 00:35

Shou’s day had been fresh and blissful, just as his whole time as a human had been. Getting used to the world was exhilarating and just walking around the city and taking in the sights, smells and sounds was enough to keep a smile on his face. Even though there was a hint of worry in the back of his mind due to Hiroto’s problems, he had started doing what he could to help for the future. It would be difficult for him to find a job but he had tried his best to look, and he’d also done all that he could to find any alternative to earn money.

Although he hadn’t found anything for himself he had managed to find a handful of jobs that Hiroto could take. Since Hiroto had a background of education and work it would be easier for him to be accepted; even when times were tough for everyone.

While Hiroto had been at school Shou had explored further into the city. He could uncover the smallest, most insignificant facts about the people around him and find them to be incredible; the way people looked through shops and reacted to car noises or noises overhead. When he found himself in a small seating area outside a far away ramen stall, Shou had been intrigued by a certain man who was busking on a bench. It was obvious that the poor man had something on his mind, something troubling, and due to Shou’s naturally caring instincts he decided to talk to him - after all he didn’t have any money for the unfortunate busker.

At the end of his stroll he came to the conclusion that he normally came to at the end of every day; walking on concrete was much more reassuring than walking amongst the clouds. Everything was settled for him; Jobs, people to talk to, Hiroto and much more that he would unearth during the rest of his stay. It was only at the very, very end of his day, just when he was about to sleep, that he remembered the dark truth of his ‘human’ life - he was not human at all.

One day Hiroto would be gone and the fruitful, colourful world he’d fallen in love with would spoil and stain.

“Shou, when we get in I want to show you the song I wrote; I think it’s done and people at school liked it.”

Suddenly Shou found himself walking up to the scruffy old apartment block that he was incredibly used to seeing after walking Hiroto home. He smiled at Hiroto, stood to his right, and nodded. This song had been top secret for a while and Hiroto had somehow managed to practice it without Shou noticing. Either Hiroto was some kind of genius spy or Shou wasn’t very attentive to what was going on around him. If he had to guess, Shou would have picked the latter.

“It’s about time you showed me your song!” Shou whined. “I’ve been waiting!”

“Well you had to wait until it was done!” Hiroto whined back. He walked in front of Shou to get through the apartment front door, but he looked over his shoulder and around his guitar case to give the taller man a cheeky grin. “And it’s special, so it’s very important that I do it right.”

Shou held the door open for Hiroto and gave a quick glance towards the reception desk. Thankfully Maruyama wasn’t there. He checked every day and he was pretty sure that Hiroto checked too, but it seemed that Maruyama didn’t want to face Hiroto while Shou was around. Without the landlord at his desk it felt as if they owned the whole block.

“Special?” Shou questioned. “Well I kind of guessed it was special by how adamant you were that I wouldn’t hear any of it.”

“So you understand why I didn’t show you then?” Hiroto asked as he jumped up the stairs. Shou rolled his eyes and followed him.

“No.” He answered plain and simply. “If it’s special then I would have liked to watch the making of it.”

“You’re just impatient!” Hiroto laughed. “Good things come to those who wait Shou!”

“I would have been just as impressed if I’d heard it weeks ago!” Shou moaned. After climbing to the top floor Hiroto hopped onto his floor and turned around to face Shou who was currently at head height with him. He pulled a face at him and shook his head.

“You’re obviously impatient.” Hiroto teased, “And I thought that Angels didn’t have flaws! You’re not such a big and mighty angel now are you?!”

“I’m human now, so I’m allowed to be impatient.” Shou chuckled. Hiroto rolled his eyes and pecked Shou on the lips before scarpering off to his flat door.

“I don’t think that’s how it works!” Hiroto cried over his shoulder. “You have a lot to learn! I am your teacher!” He unlocked his door and walked inside.

By the time Shou had stepped inside Hiroto was already on the mattress taking out his guitar. He glanced around the familiar apartment; it didn’t seem to change at all. Despite the broken cupboards, tatty flooring and discoloured walls the room made Shou feel completely at ease. There was a homely atmosphere to the flat that only existed because of Hiroto; if he wasn’t there then the whole apartment block would revert back to the barren wasteland that it had been originally.

Hiroto quickly tuned his guitar and played a few notes to warm himself up. He couldn’t imagine going straight into a song without getting his fingers used to the fret board, and Hiroto was definitely not new to playing the guitar. He looked up to Shou and smiled, which was Shou’s cue to sit and listen.

He quickly grabbed a cushion from the side of the room and sat in front of Hiroto as if he were sitting down to watch a play. Hiroto could see the anticipation in Shou’s eyes and it sent a shiver down his spine; he’d never thought anyone would get so excited to see someone play the guitar - especially someone like him. But to Shou Hiroto’s music was a beautiful expression that served more of a purpose than Hiroto liked to believe. Without his guitar Hiroto would be at loss at the end of every day, and Shou wondered whether even an angel would be able to fix the damage that Hiroto would endure through such an incident.

After looking each other in the eye for a few seconds Hiroto began the song naturally. It instantly softened Shou’s heart to hear the noise of the guitar; music was something that had touched him the moment he heard it on earth, and he could recognise the sound of Hiroto’s guitar in an instant. Out of every song, instrument and note in the whole world Shou would choose to listen to Hiroto and never stop - like playing his songs on repeat and covering his ears ignorantly with huge headphones.

While Hiroto played Shou could tell a difference. It wasn’t a bad change, not at all, but there was something new in the way he played. The music was different, and if Shou had completely understood the term he would have confidently stated that Hiroto seemed inspired by something. The world that he delved into every time he played was a far happier place and it was evident in the song, Hiroto’s face, his body and the atmosphere created around him. It was so striking that Shou could feel himself being swallowed by it.

As Shou watched he became enthralled by the movements Hiroto’s hand made up and down the neck of the guitar. Every time Hiroto played Shou would stare at the movements and gradually he came to understand the music. He could see it in his mind logically and emotionally, and when he thought about it, it made him feel like he wanted to play too. But this songs’ new notes, new motivation and new meaning was driving Shou crazy as he kept his expression inside.

Hiroto had almost forgotten everything around him. All there was in the room was Shou and him. The music was like a thick fog surrounding them but keeping them warm and joining them together. His mind had been going crazy reading the notes on his manuscript paper but finally he could take his eyes off the music and play naturally. He was getting closer to the end of the song, but just as he started to close the song he heard the gentle sound of Shou humming along dreamily.

He stared at Shou in wonder. How did he know what to sing? His face looked hypnotised, but Hiroto was pretty sure that his music wasn’t capable of putting someone in such a transfixed state. When the very last note was played Shou hit it perfectly, just before Hiroto had even strummed the strings. He stared at the angel and a smile popped up on his lips.

“How did...?” Hiroto began. He could hardly get his words out, and it seemed as if Shou was in the same predicament. He had finally moved from his mesmerized condition and was staring at Hiroto wide eyed and teary.

“I haven’t heard much music before.” Shou explained quietly. “And because I haven’t experienced much here it’s difficult for me to understand how to react to it.” He smiled slightly and wiped his left eye. “But it makes me very happy to hear you play your guitar; music means a lot to you.”

Hiroto laid his guitar on the floor and sat himself down in front of Shou. The guitar made a tuneful noise as it touched the floorboards, a noise that always worried Hiroto in case he’d been too rough with the wooden instrument.

“It means a lot to you too then.” Hiroto stated. “How did you manage to sing along so perfectly, knowing exactly what I was about to do?”
Shou shrugged and laughed to himself.

“I don’t know... But just watching you play taught me a lot.” He looked up at Hiroto and stared at him intensely. “Your song really touched me.”

“Good.” Hiroto replied. He grinned at Shou and glanced over at his guitar. The moment he took his eyes off the instrument he found Shou moving closer to him. When they were only centimetres apart they both found it impossible not to be drawn in by the other, and after a few chilling seconds of what felt like a staring contest, Shou caved in and pushed into Hiroto’s lips. Hiroto fell back onto the mattress from the force and grabbed Shou’s waist. They’d kissed so many times before but there was definitely something different and meaningful behind the force of Shou’s emotion.

Being so straight forward and eager wasn’t something Shou normally conveyed, but when he did it made Hiroto’s heart beat twice as fast. He literally couldn’t keep his hands off him, and along with how thrilled it made Hiroto it proved that Shou was displaying his feelings without a hint of hesitation or doubt. The pure and honest actions made Hiroto want to lay on the mattress and let Shou do anything; acting like a blank canvas for the painter to express whatever he wanted on his body. However, despite how eager Hiroto was, he couldn’t help but feel uneasy with so many questions and worries flashing in his mind like traffic lights.

Shou had broken through Hiroto’s lips and kissed him deeply. Hiroto could feel his tongue roaming around inside his mouth and suddenly he could also feel Shou’s hand running up the bare skin of his stomach as it made its way up Hiroto’s shirt. His skin felt incredibly sensitive to Shou’s touch that his whole body jolted upwards towards his chest. Hiroto kissed Shou back aggressively as he brought himself up, wrapped his fingers around Shou’s hair on the back of his head and dragged him down onto the mattress.

“Shou...” Hiroto groaned. The moment Shou heard Hiroto moan his name he stopped and stared at him with huge confused eyes. They stared at each other for a few moments, sharing each others air as they softly regained their breath. Shou felt worry drain into his blood; he was scared that his actions had scared Hiroto, after all when he thought about it logically, they tended to scare him too.

“You don’t like it.” He stated quietly without question, his heart stinging a little as he did so. Hiroto quickly shook his head and softened the worry that was beginning to circulate in Shou’s mind.

“No...” He responded dreamily. Shou’s huge eyes were mesmerising to the point where Hiroto just wanted to forget about what made him stop and continue, but he knew he had to ask something before going any further... simply to reassure himself. “Shou... you are staying here with me aren’t you?”

Shou nodded slowly, a more confused expression filling his face.

“Yes of course.” He replied.

“Honestly?” He asked again seriously. He found his worries growing bigger and bigger; despite how much he loved Shou he was in trouble for loving him and being an Angel he wasn’t sure if the two were going to stay together for much longer. “I don’t know how Angels work and I doubt I ever will but... as a human... will you stay here? Will you think about me?”

“Of course I will Hiroto!” Shou promised. He leant his forehead on Hiroto’s and closed his eyes. “As I’ve said before I’m not going anywhere. I don’t care about Angels I care about you. You’re the only one I care about.” He sealed his speech with a kiss and opened his eyes. The moment he did Hiroto kissed him back and in a split second the fire between them had relit - this time stronger.

Shou unbuttoned Hiroto’s shirt and threw the fabric of his uniform away. As Shou kissed Hiroto he attempted to unbutton Shou’s shirt too, and the moment Hiroto caught sight of Shou’s naked torso he realised exactly what was going to happen between them.

We’re going to have sex, he thought to himself. It’s actually happening but I feel so nervous...

He’d never expected himself to be so nervous when his first time came, but he was. He stroked Shou’s well defined body and pulled him closer so that their skins were touching. Despite being worried he definitely wanted it, and he couldn’t settle with being too far apart. Just as the warmth from Shou’s body touched him he felt hands fall down to his crotch. Shou unzipped his trousers and pushed his hands into Hiroto’s boxers. The moments in which Shou pulled down his trousers and pressed against his cock were somewhat nerve-wracking to Hiroto, but also the most exciting moments he’d ever experienced.

Eventually Hiroto’s body was fully exposed and he could feel the cold air against his skin contrast with the places Shou was touching. The taller man continued to massage his balls and kiss against Hiroto’s body; Hiroto could feel himself getting so hard that he wouldn’t be able to cope with it any longer.

He groaned and pushed up so that he could get to Shou’s waist. After literally hanging around his hips for a second or two he tugged on Shou’s jeans almost desperately before unzipping them and vigorously pulling them down along with his boxers. Shou’s cock was just as hard as Hiroto’s and the throbbing was pounding almost every inch of his whole body. Hiroto smirked and hung his arms around Shou’s waist again. He clutched to Shou’s ass and let his hands wander around the features of his perfect body while kissing around his crotch and eventually into his cock. Shou’s heavy breathing turned into moans, and after a while he was forced to pick Hiroto up and pull him to his level.

Pressed against each other they continued to kiss hungrily, Shou holding as much of Hiroto as possible and Hiroto writhing and groaning underneath Shou’s body. Naturally, they came to a small halt, where Hiroto quickly rushed off the mattress and went to collect something from a box in the far corner. When he returned he threw a bottle of oily like liquid onto the mattress next to where Shou had fallen. He climbed onto Shou and crawled up his body to kiss him again. He had never been grateful for his flat being so small, but at that moment he was glad that any form of lubricant he owned could not have been far away.

Shou pulled himself up and grabbed the bottle. He brought himself to his knees and squeezed the bottle so that the thick liquid poured out onto his palm. When he started to rub it over his cock Hiroto found himself breathing even faster than he had been before. The sight was incredibly arousing to Hiroto, but he could help but take Shou’s cock and aid the application. Shou cupped Hiroto’s ass and pulled him up closer. He leant his head on Hiroto’s shoulder and curled one hand around one cheek before pushing into his opening slowly.

Hiroto’s breathing hitched and he groaned at the action. He knew it would hurt and it would never put him off, but he couldn’t help being loud as Shou went deeper and deeper. Shou could feel Hiroto’s heart beat against his body, pounding into his body harder than his erection was throbbing. Eventually Shou pulled out and held onto Hiroto’s ass again. He glanced at Hiroto who happened to glance at him at exactly the same time; there was no speech needed for what Shou had wanted to ask. Hiroto fell to the mattress as soon as Shou let go of his ass and Shou followed him, holding himself up by his hands and keeping their crotches connected.

He positioned his cock and entered Hiroto, pushing in just as slowly as he had done before. Hiroto grabbed Shou’s back and growled a little. As hot and painful as it was he was enjoying every second of it, and as Shou began to thrust into him with more of a rhythm Hiroto pressed Shou’s ass with all the strength he had as if to get Shou to drive deeper.

Shou was shaking trying to contain his orgasm. He could see that Hiroto was close after going through so much pain that had brought tears to his eyes. Shou started pounding into Hiroto with as much force as he could. He got much quicker, much stronger, and the feeling of pain that Hiroto had experienced had almost been eliminated by the feelings of pleasure that were almost overflowing.

Eventually Shou groaned loudly and as soon as he did Hiroto did the same. Hiroto’s orgasm felt like it filled every inch of his body; everything disappeared from around him, the only feeling was Shou inside of him and his racing heart, and he didn’t feel in control of his voice at all. He could hardly see anything, as if the orgasm had blinded him from the real world, but from what he could make out he could see Shou’s tense body, his arched back, and white feathers filling up the room behind him.

Finally Shou pulled out of Hiroto and fell against his side. They both managed to catch their breath, and while they did Hiroto’s blurry eyes caught sight of a wing almost curled up around him. He hadn’t seen Angel wings in so long and in some respect had almost forgotten that Shou had them. Suddenly the wing pulled away as Shou had rolled over onto his back. Hiroto moved over to Shou and fell onto his chest, wings curling around them like a cocoon as he did so.

“Your wings...” Hiroto panted to Shou. He didn’t know why they had suddenly appeared but he couldn’t complain; they were beautiful just like Shou and they made him feel secure in their grasp.

“I don’t know why you can see them.” Shou panted back. He closed his eyes and sighed. “I guess I got carried away - I’m sorry.”

After a few seconds of resting on Shou’s rising and falling chest, Hiroto looked up at him and frowned.

“Why are you sorry?” He asked quietly. Shou’s eyes were closed so he wasn’t sure if he was awake or not, but considering how Shou had never gone through anything sexual before it was fine for him to be exhausted from the strain on his body. Eventually his head moved and proved that he was awake - just deciding on how to respond.

“I want to be human for you.” Shou replied hazily. “Wings aren’t very human.”

Hiroto gently kissed Shou’s cheek and took his place back against his chest.

“I don’t care about that.” He mumbled groggily. “I love you.”

After a long pause Shou kissed the top of Hiroto’s head and they both fell to sleep on the mattress. Hiroto had never slept so happily and fulfilled before in his life; knowing that Shou would still be there for him in the morning to protect him and to love him. The last time he had that was such a long time ago that it wouldn’t have been wrong to say that he had forgotten how to show even an ounce of affection, but it had been so easy to fall for Shou that he had been re-awakened into someone much more loving, much more sensitive, and therefore, much more human.

Hiroto’s last thought before he slept was that Shou wasn’t the only one who had to change to become human; Hiroto had to do exactly the same.

The sleep was blissful. Hiroto could feel Shou’s warmth heat up his bones and Shou’s wings cover him like a blanket. The satisfaction of having Shou inside of him made him feel completely and utterly elated; there was nothing in the whole world that could have possibly taken it away from him...

Or at least that was what Hiroto dreamt of. Light entered the room the moment the sun rose, and it woke Hiroto up almost instantly. His eyes flickered open to a cold, colourless and empty room. Before he even realised that it was morning he realised that there was no warmth from beside him and there was nothing covering his body.

He jerked up and darted his eyes around the room. Shou was not there. Insanity hit him for a moment as he wondered whether the whole day before had been a dream, whether he was dreaming at that moment, or whether his eyes were tricking him.

“Shou?” He called quietly. Nothing. The silence was mocking him harshly and deafeningly. If he could think without worrying then Shou’s absence wouldn’t have been too shocking, but suddenly all of Hiroto’s fears and past thoughts came flooding back to him like he’d been slapped in the face. Tears dropped from his eyes immediately without any indication beforehand, and a lump in his throat was making him feel sick to the core of his stomach. “Shou?!” He screeched.

He shook so much that he fell back onto the mattress. It was far too scary to move around the flat; it was much easier to plead ignorance and pretend that Shou was waiting for him around the corner. He curled himself up, dragged the unused covers around his body and stared at the evidence that the night before had happened: the bottle of liquid, his own clothes, even blood stains on the mattress.

Hiroto stayed on the mattress for hours. Nothing happened. He didn’t move an inch except to mouth words that he remembered pledging to Shou the night before. I love you. He pretended that Shou was waiting for him in the flat and that soon enough he would give up on and come to check up on him. The moment never came... but Hiroto wouldn’t take no for an answer.

Shou had promised to stay. He had to come back.
