The good, the bad and the ugly
I had surgery about two weeks ago. I had a tumor the size of a golf ball removed. The tumor was cancerous. I am happy to say that my latest test results came back saying that they got all of the tumor and the cancer. So one more month until I am healed from surgery. Mostly I am okay at this point. Just no exercise, no lifting, no strenuous activities... how boring. However with luck I'll be able to play rugby again in the fall.
I also got the news today, that I am going to be an Aunt again. Just what I need, another rug-rat that can't pronounce my name.
My little brother's girlfriend is visiting from out of town. She's been staying with me for several days. It's been great fun.
I'm looking forward to my trip to NJ next weekend - hopefully. I'm not recovered enough to drive myself up there - so now I just have to figure out how to get from point A to point B.
I think I should get back to work tonight - I have plans of drinking with an interesting woman tonight.
