my video cam
So I got this video cam before thanksgiving, and had all these plans to record
little vin's special moments, and I don't know. I did record his first christmas,
but not the part where we open his gifts for him, because he's only 4 months and
couldn't care less about presents, just keep the christmas tree lit so he can gaze at it
for hours and hours and he's happy. I did catch him on christmas morning in his new
activity center, before the present fiasco. Christmas day was not like I imagined it to be. I'll leave it at that. I'm slowly warming up to the video experience. I think one should be careful in what they record. Because it is forever. And one day when I am long dead and gone, my son will have something to remember me by... I like to record the small details like how he is noticing his hands, and how he stares at them for long periods of time... how he lights up a room when he smiles at me... the adorable sounds he makes and how he plays with his cutie pie toes. Those are the important things... presents are irrelevant...
