Graduation
Last Friday was graduation... It was probably the most meaningful graduation at Daishoji that I've been to because it is my last one, and because the students who were graduating entered Daishoji High School the same time I did... Especially the girls in the ESS club, I have a lot of memories of... like them riding up in the train with me to the summer seminar... at each stop a new girl would get on and sit in the "hot seat" and talk with me, while the others moved to safety...
The graduation ceremony is really formal... The principal what looks like a conductor's tuxedo... One kid from each class goes on stage and gets the diploma's for his homeroom from the principal... There is a lot of bowing...
Later on in the day I saw some of the students who had just graduated, but I didn't recognize them... They decided to celebrate by dying their hair and going shopping at the local mall, Abio City...
I think its really funny that the first thing they do is dye their hair (they aren't supposed to have it dyed while they are in school)... but shopping at the ghetto ass mall Abio city? what a way to celebrate...
