Superman.
I mean, honestly, that sounds horrible, doesn’t it?
Really, really horrible. Cousins and all …
But when he wasn’t himself, back when he was crazy - it was really scary. Truly terrifying. I mean, he’s the most powerful man ever. And all that power - he could have killed any of us, easily.
Including me.
I mean, it wasn’t his fault. So it’s not like it’s his fault, or anything. But still, I used to wonder how any one could be afraid of my cousin. It’s not like he’s very imposing. And he lives on a farm.
Sure, they don’t know that, but that’s only because super villains are stupid.
But after that day, I got it. Just how imposing he could be.
But what’s really kind of wonderful is that after that was over, I also got to see how much guilt he carries because of it. And no, guilt’s not that good, I guess. But it showed me that even Superman doesn’t know what he’s doing all the time, which makes it all the easier for me to deal with the fact that I rarely know the right thing to do.
