Allright, so I put serious planning and effort into my Martha-Thanksgiving party. And I'd like to Thank everyone for not complaining about my crappy mashed potatoes that I tried to make the night before and then babysat all day Thursday. They still turned out like glue. blech. I could have just served a giant bowl of Elmers.
Best of all, though, was...making the "....thankful for..." cards that we wrote on placecards and put in our squirrel-shaped placecard holders and placed around the house.
Although we, of course, must note that we're thankful for "pokemon" and "cheesecake" - I couldn't be more thankful for anything than that my children also were thankful for "God making us" and "my brother," / "my sister."
That trumps crappy mashed potatoes.
