The glamour of marketing
Out of the shower and freshly dressed, I've used 16 different products so far for skin/hair care. So along with smelling of lemon-verbena, my hair had better damn well be shiny and my skin soft.
I've decided to take a break from reading the shopping magazines (Lucky, e.g.) and watching the E! channel. Good Grief. Besdie the fact that I am not likely to spend upwards of $600 on sandals this summer, I am nearly 5'6 at 118# and there is something wrong if skimming those pages makes me feel fat.
So, we're ready for summer (I think. Hope?). It starts today - the earlier the sun rishes, the earlier my sunshines rise. We've got library, home-tutoring, swimming, tennis and maybe even an acting primer on the sched.
I checked my sanity at the door. I hope to retrieve it following Labor Day - as soon as the school bus drives off.
