Superboy was a dream child at the dentist's (mine) office this week.
I tell ya, I love my daughter dearly; and I know she loves her brother. But their behaviors together can be so incredibly trying on my patience. She's at her dad's house for a couple weeks and Superboy has put his angel-child hat back on.
The receptionist at the DDS office watered a plant during my appt and explained to Superboy what she was doing. His eyes got wide as she explained that "plants get hungry just like you get hungry..." and that she needed to "feed the plant. It needs breakfast because it's hungry."
As he tried to comprehend this concept, I could see the wheels spinning.
This was about the time that the Dental Assistant asked me if I was "having a nice nap?"
Sure, I thought. I'm reclined at a negative angle, there's a bright light in my face, I've got water, suction, a mirror and some sort of picking tool in my mouth and the Doctor's cell phone (which sits aproximately 4 centimeters from my right ear lobe) plays the Macarena every three minutes - What else would I be doing besides enjoying a nap?
good grief.
As we left, I spotted half of Superboy's Tiger-bar sticking out of the plant's soil.
