so I am in a great mood right now. I don't know what's up with that, but it's awesome. I was down for a bit last week for no reason so I am glad I am happier now!!! We had a competition yesterday and got 3rd out of 4 groups. Not bad for redline's first year ever. It is kind of cool to think that I am part of the first year of an organization. So we had practice from 9-10. That means I practiced for like a half hour. SWEET. I went with Mike and Andrew to the Troy. We all got there and changed and all that fun stuff and did a prelims performance. It wasn't that great, but we didn't completely fall apart. After we performed we had like three hours to chill. We went to the Oakland Mall and ate at the food court. When we came back I went and chilled with some plymouth drumline kids. It war really fun to hang out because I couldn't see there performance. I helped West Bloomfield get on the floor for finals. There show is awesome. I really like the music. It's kind of weird having the kids I teach in the fall watch me march. I feel like they are watching me very closely.....like they want to see if I am good enough to be teaching them. We went on at finals later that night. The performance felt a whole lot better, but we ended up with a lower score. Eh what can you do.
I think I have endorphins from yesterday. Ah it is a great feeling.
I am bummed I couln't go to freezer jam this year, but its all good. I don't think I was ready with the music anyways. ahh
I have to go to a staff meeting later.
