I was studying last night until about 1:20ish this morning and I figured I'd be tired when I had to get up for my 7:45 final, but I could finish my Monster and be alright. Somehow, I managed to turn off my phone alarms, two of them, without remembering that I did it. For reasons I don't know but am grateful for, my roommate woke up randomly and asked me "Sara, isn't it eight o'clock?" OH SHIT. I shoved my glasses on my face and my feet into shoes, almost put my coat on upside down, and ran for Nat Sci. Evidently, you should not make a mad dash when you've just woken up two minutes ago; I had to stop and nearly vomit. My prof still let me take my exam, since he's cool and not one of the one-person-already-finished-and-left-the-room-so-too-bad profs, and he tells me not to rush, just take it. I didn't really realize until I sat down how amazingly awful I had to look-still wearing my pajamas (Spartan pants and an ancient Mickey Mouse t-shirt); hair barely brushed, a little sweaty, and wearing my fencing shoes, the first ones I could find this morning, with holes on the top and zero traction on the bottom (which made the run there interesting, thank goodness for salt!).
But the exam was alright and I won't be sleeping through the next one, since it's at 5:45 tonight. And I have now worn PJs to class and nearly slept through an exam, and I feel like a real college kid!
