“Yearbooks are at the 3rd floor, come on,” He says and he walks first followed by Sungmin.

They then reached the third floor and Sungmin, still, can’t hid his amazement about the whole place. Kibum sighed in contentment when he noticed everything here were yearbooks, after all. Though they can’t spot any other person or student here, they still went on searching. The creepiness is running to Sungmin though and he just can’t separate from Kibum, he said he was scared to get lost.

“We got to do some Maths here,” Kibum stated as he walks while looking at every book on the shelves.

“Pfft, Math,” Sungmin complained, rolling his eyes while following Kibum from behind.

“Well, do you know when his mom graduated?”

“Fine, I don’t,” Sungmin replies. “So how are we going to do this? With Math?”

“When is Kyuhyun’s birthyear?” He asks, still looking through the books.

“1988,” He answers. How he knew that? It’s a fiancée’s knowledge.

“So…subtract 1988 to 20, we get 1966,” He says and Sungmin wasn’t interested. He just stood there, watching as Kibum solves it on his own and he wishes the year isn’t the same with his mom’s graduation year. “1974?” He tells Sungmin after calculating.

Oh, God, same years. “How are you so sure?”

“Don’t doubt me, I’m good at this,” Kibum says, smiling and he pulls Sungmin to the other block of the yearbooks. “You search the left part, I’ll search at the right,” He instructs, pointing to the areas and Sungmin nods, like he can do anything about it.

“Okay then,” Sungmin replies, walking away, deciding to just find the yearbook, with no effort at all. “1969…1970…1971…” He murmurs, looking closely to the dates. “1980?” He questions and looked at the next one. “Then 1978?” He says, crossing his arms. “They’re not arranged properly!” He complains. “Argh,”

“Shhh,”

“There’s no one here,”

“Still,”

Sungmin decided to ignore him and continued. “Oh here’s 1972…1973…197-what the-“

“What’s wrong?” Kibum turned to him.

“1974 isn’t here!” Yay! Sungmin yells. “It’s missing!”

“Relax,” Kibum says and Sungmin looked at him in curiosity. “It’s here,” He continues, lifting a book and Sungmin just wanted to die, right now. Kibum then approached a frozen Sungmin and snaps his fingers infront of his eyes. “Yah!”

“Oh, sorry,” Sungmin apologizes when he went back to his sense.

Kibum opened the yearbook and Sungmin didn’t want to look but he needs answers, he shouldn’t be scared of this, he’s sure Kyuhyun and him aren’t related, at all, or so he wishes. “Hmm…that’s odd,”

“Why?”

“I think I might’ve gotten the wrong one,” Kibum says, closing the book and Sungmin sighed in relief. “Oh…its 1964…silly me, it’s quite faded,” He continues, chuckling as he showed the texts to Sungmin.

Oh, thank God. Sungmin thought.

“Excuse me,” They both jumped in shock when they heard another voice behind them and they both turned around. They saw a girl, holding a yearbook in her hand. And they just stood there so the girl spoke again. “Were you looking for this?” She says, handing the yearbook.

“Yeah, thanks,” Kibum smiled at her as he took the book. He then turns to Sungmin when the girl walked away. “Sungson?”

“Huh?” Sungmin answered weakly, wishing what he wish that isn’t gonna is gonna happen.

“It’s here,”

“…huh?”

“Yearbook batch 1974-“

Oh God.

“-the girl gave it,” Kibum says to an uninterested and incoherent Sungmin. “Yah? Sungson?”

Sungmin gulped. “Open it,” He orders and Kibum looked at him suspiciously. “Go on, I need to find out something at least,” He continues.

Kibum, convinced, then opened the yearbook and scanned the pages as Sungmin anticipates. Kibum asked Sungmin first what was Kyuhyun’s mom’s surname but he didn’t know so they went through all the pages.

Sungmin’s hopes disappeared when Kibum stopped at one page. “His mom, isn’t it?” Kibum asks.

My mom too… He thinks. He doesn’t know how to react but he needs to hide this from Kibum. “Y-yeah…she is,” He says, trying to avoid stuttering. “Well, atleast I think she is,”

“Hmmm, she’s pretty,” Kibum complimented, completely unaware of Sungmin’s feelings. “Isn’t she?”

Sungmin nods. “Yeah she is,” And smiles. If this isn’t her mom then that’s one amazing replica of her. He swears there isn’t any coincidence, fate or destiny involved in this, it’s all Science.  It’s either they have the same mom which he they don’t or some surgery is involved here but he doubts about the surgery.

“Are you alright?” Kibum asks when he notices Sungmin’s trembling hands and he was sweating too.

He gulps. “I’m fine, sorry,” He answers and is convinced it won’t do any good for Kibum will continue observing him.

Kibum opens his mouth to speak but was stopped with a sudden thunder bolt and it started to rain. They turned slowly at the glass window, watching as the rain drops wets the glass and it was breath-taking rather than annoying. It was beautiful, Sungmin thought.

“Argh! Now look what you did!” Ryeowook screams as he stomps his food with his clenched fists under a waiting shed with Yesung.

“What?”

“There’s mud all over my shoe! This is your fault! And it’s raining now, how am I gonna get home?!”

“You got mud all over your shoe because you took the way opposite to mine which is unfortunately, muddy,” Yesung says, smirking. “And it’s not my fault it’s raining, Wook,”

“Whatever,” Ryeowook says, brushing off some dry mud left on his shoes. “The fact that you’re here made it rain,” He continues, still busy cleaning his shoe and he decides to sit on the bench. “You know why? Because you’re a fail and right now I hate you so nature hates you also,” He continues on, talking non-stop.

Yesung chuckles as he sits beside him. “Really,” He starts. “I only said a few words and you almost said one paragraph,”

Ryeowook paused and turned to him. “No, I didn’t,”

“Yes you did,” Yesung insists.

Then there was a sudden silence as they both sit on the bench, watching the rain fall.

“I miss you,” Yesung says, sighing.

“Well, I don’t miss you,” Ryeowook replies.

“I don’t get it, why are so mad at me?” Yesung asks, shifting his position to face Ryeowook.

“Oh I’m not mad,” Ryeowook then turned to him. “I mean, it’s really okay to invite a friend over at night and when your friend gets there, he sees you with a girl on the floor, drunk,” He continues, glaring at Yesung. “It’s practically alright,”

“I came back from a celebration with some of my batch mates and I got drunk,” Yesung tries explaining. “I don’t even know her!”

“Oh yes you don’t,” Ryeowook sighs. “You don’t her when you yelled her name, telling her to shut up when she was being a bitch, yelling her lungs out, oh the guts of her,”

“Okay yes maybe I know her name but I don’t know her personally!”

“Whatever,” Ryeowook then leans back, sighing and cross his arms. There was a sudden breeze and he felt the cold wind brushing against his skin. He face palms himself mentally for not bringing his coat and so he rubbed his arms lightly with his hands, hoping to feel warmer.

Yesung noticed him and sat still until he saw Ryeowook fold his legs up to the bench and he was curling up, he forgot how sensitive Ryeowook was. Just a simple cold air would shiver him. He stood up, although thinking he might get shooed off my Ryeowook, he just can’t ignore that little thing curling up, burying his face between his arms and shivering in cold.

Ryeowook almost jumped but he didn’t even flinch when he felt Yesung’s coat being put around him but he smiles. “Jerk,” He murmurs.

Sungmin sighs as he waits inside the library with Kibum. It’s raining so hard now, he doesn’t like it. If he got wet, Kibum might notice the thick bra padding he’s wearing and he’ll be suspicious. Why would a woman need such thick padding anyway? Well, because he doesn’t have breasts to start off with.

“The rain might take long,” Kibum says, breaking their silence and Sungmin nods. “Do you have somewhere else to go?”

“No,” Sungmin replies. “But Kyu might be looking for me,”

“Sorry, I didn’t think it would rain so hard,”

“Oh, it’s okay,” Sungmin smiles, shaking his head but suddenly froze when he saw a very familiar person at the library. Shindong?! He exclaims inside his mind when he saw Shindong walking in the library. He then got alarmed and ducked, hoping to not get seen.

“What’s wrong?”

“Nothing, I…” Sungmin says, not finding some right words to say.

“Sungmin?” He heard Shindong saying but Kibum didn’t seem like he did.

“Eep! I need to go!” Sungmin then suddenly ran away, leaving Kibum behind only to be chased b a rather confused Shindong.

“Wait! Sungson-“

“Shh!” He was hushed.

“Sorry,” He apologizes in a whisper and went sitting back. “I wonder what’s with him…” He asks myself at the same time his phone rang.

“Yo? Kyuhyun shii?”

“You, seen Sungson?”

“Oh, I was with her just now, she…ran away,”

“What do you mean ran away?!”

“Hey relax, I don’t know but she suddenly ran outside-oh shit!”

“What?”

“It’s raining outside!” Kibum exclaims. “She might get-hello? Hello Kyuhyun shii?”

Gosh, Sungmin, so stupid. He repeats as he continued to run away from Shindong, the best part is that he’s completely soaked now. If Kibum followed them, he might see Shindong and he’ll be busted. He doesn’t see Shindong trailing behind him anymore so he was quite relieved but not yet.

He pants as he looks around, hoping to find a dry spot but he couldn’t. This was the outside area, or where the athletes normally are. Lots of courts and trails.

He’s soaking wet and he could even see his thick padding himself and so he covers it with his arms. It’s embarrassing to be honest. The rain continued to pour down and he’s still standing there, looking for a dry spot. His visions were also getting blurry because of the water dropping on his delicate eyelids.

Then suddenly, the rain stopped touching him and he turns around only to find Kyuhyun behind him, with an umbrella and his eyes widened. “Kyu…what are you…”

“You, stupid, what are you doing here?” Kyuhyun asks, with a slight tone of piss, as he pulls Sungmin closer to fit in the umbrella.

“I…umm…”

“Nevermind, come on,” Kyuhyun then pulled him as he walks away, going straight for a dry area, inside the campus.

“Kyu,” He calls a she squishes his hair. “How about you? What’re you doing here?”

Kyuhyun then looked at him. “Nothing…” He then steps closer, placing a towel on Sungmin’s head and wiping it himself, Sungmin felt himself freezing. He might be my brother…

“I-I can do it,” He says, holding Kyuhyun’s wrist.

“No,” He insists.

If he’s my brother, I should be nice to him…

“Okay,” Sungmin smiles weakly.

Afterwards, when it wasn’t raining that hard anymore, they decided to walk back straight to Kyuhyun’s car. Sungmin was still wet and he was using Kyuhyun’s coat to cover him when he went in the car. He was actually, for once, more calm and didn’t scold Sungmin for wetting his car but instead, he was helping. He was actually helping and it scared Sungmin.

As soon as Kyuhyun closed the front sea door after he got in, wait, he actually slammed it, there was a total silence. He’s gonna get scolded again-

“Just what the heck are you doing there?” Kyuhyun asks, looking at him seriously.

Sungmin gulped. He just saw this coming. “I was just…”

“What?”

“I was trying to find out something…”

“With Kibum?”

“He was just helping me, Kyu,” Sungmin tries to explain.

“What if other reporters see you there? God, Sungmin, can you please listen to me once in a while?”

“No one saw me there! And I bet they wouldn’t even bother because right now I’m wearing a school uniform,” Sungmin continues. Kyuhyun didn’t talk, it’s clear that he was pretty upset and disappointed and he face palms himself mentally for being so stupid to upset Kyuhyun again. “So, what were you doing there then?” He asks to break the silence.

Kyuhyun sighed and leaned back. “I called Kibum and found out you both are there, together,” He emphasizes.

“Kibum-oh no! I forgot about Kibum!” Sungmin exclaims, stiffening his body up.

“Don’t worry about him; he’ll probably just flirt at the students there,”

“He will?”

“Yeah, now let’s go, you upset me,” Kyuhyun says, starting the engine and driving away from the school.

Sungmin leaned back, feeling guilty and cold at the same time.

“Get off me,” Ryeowook says, glaring at Yesung who was hugging him from behind. “Let go of me, this instance, Yesung,”

“No,”

“Yesung!” Ryeowook yells, trying to push Yesung away.

Yesung struggled with him but being much bigger and stronger, he managed to grab Ryeowook’s wrist just when he was about to jump away and pulled him closer to his body, embracing the latter, his arms wrapped around the small fragile body and Ryeowook couldn’t do anything but burry his face on Yesung’s chest.  They stayed like that for seconds.

“I miss you,” Yesung whispered. “I miss your hands through mine, I miss your cooking, I miss your voice, I miss your smile, your laugh, your touch,” He continues, embracing the younger man tighter as if never letting go. “I miss you…”

“You’re stupid…” Ryeowook whispers, tears falling down. “I hate you so much…”

“I know,” Yesung whispers back, stroking Ryeowook’s hair. “I’m sorry,”

And Ryeowook burst out crying, lifting his hands to cover his face, his crying face. Yesung let go of him and bent down to see Ryeowook’s face. “What’s wrong?? Hey, why are you crying?”

Ryeowook shook his head.

“Hey, don’t cry, Ryeowook please don’t cry,” Yesung panics, rubbing the latter’s shoulders gently for comfort. “Ryeowook, don’t cry please…” He says, pulling the younger to him, comforting him.

He doesn’t know why but Sungmin felt that he shouldn’t tell Kyuhyun that he saw Ryeowook when they were driving. They passed by a waiting shed and he saw a familiar figure amidst the rain and he realizes that it was indeed Ryeowook and another guy. He was processing who might that be and he realizes that it was Yesung, it was Yesung who was embracing Ryeowook.

He smiles, remembering that scene.

“Why are you smiling?” Kyuhyun asks, glancing at him.

He shook his head. “Nothing,” He turns to Kyuhyun and seconds later he found himself staring at him, staring at Kyuhyun who was seriously driving. He frowns, his heart clenching on its own, like it’s in pain.

He doesn’t understand why, he thinks Kyuhyun’s his brother. If it’s true, he doesn’t know how to tell him. Maybe destiny let them meet each other because they were indeed, brothers. He turns and looks at the rain, falling down from the sky. He paused when he suddenly remembered something, that day they first met, he was visiting his mother’s grave and Kyuhyun was also there.

He must’ve been just passing by but after all he found out today, that might be far from what it is. They might really be related, they might really be brothers. Same blood, same genes. His heart fell, he felt like he failed something inside him, like a side him was heartbroken.
