hey what's up body?

So I've never considered myself a bony person. I'm not fat but I'm really skinny. I mean not like in that BONY way. Erm. Ok.

Well the point is that I've never been aware of the way my bones sit under my skin and connective tissue before until I started working out at Torque. But apparently I have really jutting bones? Or maybe I just do things weird. Because I keep getting bruises at places that would only be possible if there were really no flesh padding there and also if the bones of that area stuck out to an abnormal degree. Or something.

For example, I've noticed how every time I do supermans I get bruises on my hipbones. Or whenever I do front squat type things with barbells I get bruises on my collar bones. My knees are just bruised anyway because I'm always hitting them on things. Perhaps I'm just easily bruised. That's a possibility. It's not really problem I guess except aesthetic wise. Right now there's a massive red patch on my left collarbone that looks either like an unsightly rash or a hickey given to me by a creature with an enormous mouth.

I'm not sure how to remedy this issue. For the collarbones I guess I could lower the bar onto my chest/shoulder area more gently? But how do I prevent my hipbones from bruising during supermans other than lying on carpet or padding? And why is this even an issue?

Bodies are so strange.
