The Wrongway Adventures
One: Awkward and Parties
Hello there! I'm Sam, and I recently started playing the Sims 3. *cough*
Basically, I wanted something to do with the game. But I didn't want an overall goal or story or anything to think about. The last thing I need right now is to open my distraction open and feel like I need to be doing something. Don't worry if you're a fan of my Sims 2 projects - they're not going anywhere! This is purely for fun!
So it's not a legacy. It's not a challenge. It's me just enjoying my game. Hopefully other people enjoy it too.
Okay, meet Madeline Wrongway, aka: Maddie. She's based off my generation five heiress in my Sims 2 legacy, The Wrongway Legacy. Seeing as I'm playing a new game, might as well have something familiar, no?
Maddie's traits, the ones I can remember offhand, were chosen so long ago I can't remember why I picked them. I know she's rebellious, a party animal and a daredevil. The other two have completely escaped me.
Since the general rule in this game seems to be no friends = no fun, I send Maddie out to meet people.
Also, bikes. I love them. I wish my bike hadn't broke!
That's how Maddie came to meet this posh-looking dude. I forgot his first name, but his last name resembles the word "Wolf". You know what, let's just call him Wolf.
Wolf: Who is this woman in green and why is she trying to talk to me?
Apparently, he wasn't impressed by Maddie's faces, so we left Wolf to it, and wandered round the park.
Which is how I found this guy, Leighton. His name I can remember. He was just hanging around, pouting, and generally doing nothing. So I figured he might as well make himself useful and talk to Maddie.
Hey, it went pretty well! Leighton, unlike Wolf, seemed to appreciate faces.
He looked shocked, however, when Maddie decided to eat dirt to impress him. Pfft, daredevils.
Still, I like him, even if he's a little bit awkward. Maddie likes him too. And so love is in the air. Well, the beginnings of a romance. We'll see. Relationship building in the sims 3 still confuses me a little bit.
Leighton's awkward hugging face is brought to you by Superfrog.
And the prize for ruining the moment goes to Gunther Goth.
After that, Maddie said goodbye to Leighton, and headed for home.
We interrupt this post for a distraction. This pretty night shot taken from Maddie's garden.
A day later, and Maddie is throwing a party with some of the random people she met while wandering about.
Maddie: Wooo! Party!
Everyone else seemed less enthusiastic.
But Leighton made it. Which was actually one of the reasons I let Maddie throw the party.
And considering this is my first party ever in Sims 3, I wasn't sure what to expect. Who knew Maddie was about to throw off her clothes and jump in the pool while Leighton watched and some dude played guitar in the background?
Sounds like a pretty epic party, actually ;D
Maddie's face! She looks a little concerned that Leighton is also naked. Just a little bit.
The pair of them skinny-dipped late into the night, while everyone else danced and whatever, and the party ended well.
Another day, another party. And Maddie looks so impressed by this.
Well, I'm finding it's the best way to make friends. No one refuses to come, and they usually bring extra guests. I love it, it means more friends! And more fun!
This is becoming the normal sight at Maddie's house now. Guitar Dude, Leighton, Wolf, and women who just show up with the rest of the crowd Maddie invites. Who are all these people?!
Leighton showing up means flowers and romance. Naturally.
Then the pair of them looked at the stars together, because Maddie wanted to. It was one of the most adorable things I've ever seen in a sims game. Honestly.
Maddie: This is nice, I'm glad we did this.
Leighton: Holy crap, she's holding my hand! What do I do?!
Eventually, he worked it out, and the pair of them spent the evening being adorable together.
And the trend of daily parties continues. I only know one of the sims in this picture, and that's Guitar Dude. Did all of these women come with him? Or did they just hear that Maddie throws great parties?
I'm assuming we'll never know. Nor will I remember their names.
That night, I missed Maddie's first kiss with Leighton. Which sucks.
But at least you can still see Leighton's awkward "Kiss-Me" Face.
Maddie: Oh hey. Yeah, I'm just making out with Leighton, but sure I can talk. Uh huh. Yeah, the party was pretty cool. Hmm. You know, maybe I should be paying more attention to Leighton. Call you tomorrow okay?
Apparently, there is no wrong time to answer a phone call.
True to her word, Maddie did turn her attention back to Leighton. And that was a lot of attention.
Which is how Maddie got pregnant. Is this the end of her partying lifestyle?
Find out next time! Thanks for reading :3
