What I'm Up To
I installed the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection just to fill in the gaps I have with my sims game (plus it's awesome not having to use the disc or having the autorun menu pop up), and rather than throwing ALL my CC back in, I've kept it to a minimal. At the minute, I've got my defaults & fixes, poseboxes, hairs I've retextured, two pairs of glasses, and a little bit of make up, and the game is running like a dream.
We'll see how long I can last without lots of CC.
But because most of my challenges have sims that use CC and I can't be bothered to makeover everyone, I just started a new 'hood to play for fun. That 'hood is Sunset Cove, and I'm playing it prosperity-style - though I will fully admit I didn't randomise how many sims I started with.
There's three sims who founded Sunset Cove - (L-R) Elaine Burgess, Hannah Gowen and Sebastian Duke. I play them in alphabetical order by last name, and so far I've finished the first week of the Burgess household. Elaine married a hobby instructor, Jace Rusewics, and is currently pregnant. She's also been fired from a job in Journalism.
Next up is Sebastian. I must admit, I'm having a lot of fun just playing these guys.
