I'm going to be bumming around the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast between May 14 and May 25, looking for things to do, while Zajj is at a summer program in New Jersey. Shoot me a line if you'll be around and I can stay and hang out with you for a few days.

Also, I saw this movie a few weeks ago at the Wisconsin Film Festival, and was floored.

I was in a Walgreens an hour ago, and I noticed they had White Castle burgers in the "quick meals" section of the food aisle. How crazy is that? Also: are you game?

So, after finishing here on May 18 I will be in Boston for maybe half a day en route to europe. Any chance you kids will be in Seattle during the summer at all?

I'm going to be in Seattle in early to mid-June; Zajj probably not. Also, just to make sure I understand: my coming up to Ithaca before May 18 wouldn't work so well for you?

I don't get back from Spain until the end of June so I would miss you in Seattle. I would love to see you in Ithaca, and we've got no shortage of couches, etc, but I will be needing to study on the order of 6 hours a day during each of those days (I have an exam on Friday the 18 th morning and then have to be packed and get some leaving town things organized in short order before leaving for boston, from where my plane leaves on the evening of the 21st)....still, that's not so much, so if you can fit in the driving (I assume that you will be more in the coastal region and ithaca is pretty far inland)it would be great to host you. The other thing is that depending on how quickly we can get out of here after the 18th my travel-mate (she went to Olin in Boston) and I may be in Boston for a whole day to a day in a half during which time I may be sort of at loose ends while she sees school people.

I will be done at IAS on the 25th. Then I will need a place to sleep (that night), in addition to mr. Jason here. Probably in NY. Especially since your guys' birthday is only a couple of days later.

Much as I'd like to, I think adding a fourth stop to this week-and-a-half jaunt would overload me because of the added travel and short stays. Of course, I'm way looking forward to seeing you and Matt afterwards! :-)

One question: how difficult/stressful would it be to travel within Manhattan from Chinatown to Penn Station, say by subway? Note that I have ~2.5 bags with me.
