this has been annoying me
So whenever I'm driving, and my mom's in the car, and she thinks I should be doing anything with either the gas or brake pedal, her left foot reflexively moves. No matter where she's sitting. And I'm just sitting there thinking "Do you drive with your left foot? Are you some kind of freak or something?" which is also sort of bad, because, you know... I'm driving. It would be distracting enough that she feels the need to press on imaginary pedals even if it wasn't her left foot.
Of course, it's not as bad as when my dad goes spastic, although luckily that's not as consistent. Because then I'm distracted, so I'm more likely to make mistakes, and I have to slow down, and then, either because I made another mistake, or am driving slow, he starts yelling again, and that cycle prety much continues until we get wherever we're going.
Moral of the story; Me driving would probably be a lot safer if I didn't have either of my parents in the car. In fact, it would probably be safer if I had one of my friends in the car than either of my parents, because I can deal with talking and whatever. But once my mom starts pressing imaginary pedals with the WRONG FOOT, or my dad starts flipping out, man, that's distracting.
But more importantly... that's the wrong foot!
