Yeah, Sean just moved into the apartment, which makes the place complete. It's too bad, though - Byron and I have been making fun of Sean ever since I got here, which means it's been around 4-5 days. Running jokes are great, provided that the person who is the target of the joke always reacts to it. For example: While shopping for various things at Wal-Mart, we came across a My Little Pony figurine....We thought it would be pretty funny if we were to buy like 10 of them and put them all in Sean's dresser so that when he and his family got there, they would all have a good laugh....at Sean. We also considered placing -Police Line Do Not Cross- tape all around his room and drawing an outline of a dead body on his floor with sidewalk chalk.
We also heard that his grandma was coming up with the family. We were thinking, "why in the hell would Sean's grandmother come up to Austin just to watch him move in?" Byron suggested that she came for the weight room. We both thought that was pretty funny, so for the 4 days of just us two in the apartment we couldn't stop imagining the weight-lifting grandma and laughing our asses off. See, folks, this is what happens when you leave Dustin and Byron in the same place together with nothing much to do for 5 days. Anyways, when Sean eventually DID come, and we met his grandma, it was all I could do to keep from busting out laughing while she was there. We told Sean about the jokes after his family left, and he pretty much just rolled his eyes and gave us the "God I hate you guys" look. How the hell we're going to live in the same place for 9 months without killing each other is beyond me.
Anyways, about the apartment.....the only thing really wrong with it is that the shower floods. Yeah, the drains to the showers aren't very good, so whenever you take a shower you're wading in 5 inch deep soapy water. Which isn't so bad, really, but it's still something that needs to be fixed, because it can get worse if you just leave it alone. Everything else is great, though - we got most of our groceries and appliances/utensils and things, and we seem to be alright concerning how we're going to pay for stuff. So far, so good.
Hehe, I wonder if I should have a big blowout party at the place.....I don't think the neighbors would like it very much. Then again, they DO play their loud bass music sometimes, so......well......actually I don't even think I could throw a good party even if I wanted to - I don't even know what the cool kids like these days. Hell, I'm not even old enough to buy alcohol. Unless it's one of those non-alcoholic parties. Yeah, I'm much more used to those. But then no one would come......oh hell, if they can't have fun without alcohol then they're probably not worth knowing anyways. There, I said it.
Man, I'm tired. I hope I don't have to wake up early tomorrow for some reason. That would suck.
