When you feel my heat, look into my eyes

It's funny how my taste in fandoms has changed so drastically over the past few years. I used t be  MAJOR otaku and I could tell you all the anime that were hip in Jpan at the moment. I would also snobbishly roll my eyes at you if you said you watched the english dub and had waited the 3 years it takes for a translation. English? PUH-LEASE. Everyone knows Japan has superior voice acting, and try as they might, there's always subtle nuances and cultural references that never get translated correctly.

These days, I can't even tell you the last time I watched an anime....oh wait! I can. It was Spice and Wolf. On Netflix. In ENGLISH! How far I have fallen. No j-pop in my car, no weekly downloading of my beloved episodes of One Piece and Naruto. Oh, and remember how I used to write all those Kaka/Saku stories? I couldn't even tell you what's going on in that manga right now. Sigh.

But you know what I AM into? Doctor Who. Like a lot. Like all 7 seasons of the 2005 series in a month. Never have I crushed on a celebrity like I do on David Tennant and the Christmas special can NOT come fast enough. Oh, and I ship Rose and 10 so hard it's not even funny. so expect some of THAT from me in the future. I'm almost done with a good smutty piece with the two of them.

I don't know if I'm done with anime fandoms forever, but they are definitely on the back burner for a while. Bye bye KakaSaku. it's been fun.
