I have to work today. I REEEEALLY don't want to. I'm going to be missing so much family. I already missed our sunrise service and breakfast so I didn't get to hang out with Benny. I could of gone I suppose but then I would have been shot for work.

Granted I am only working 5 hours, but it the 5 hours in which we're having our Easter family thing. So... I don't get to see the family I usually don't get to see.

Also, I think one of my coworkers tried to ask me out in a "wanna go hang out" way and I got flustered and said something that sounded very bitch since I've thought about it. He wanted to know if I wanted to watch some Doctor Who with him (since I lent him my ripped off Chinese copy) and I said "Well... er.... my.... schedule. I'm pretty.... things are pretty hectic... for... as long as I work here pretty much." *side stepping away*

What I MEANT to say was "Well, yeah I'd love to hang out, but my schedule's a bit bumpy with this new HR person so not sure when that would be, but if we're going to hang out I should let you know" *look around stealthy like* "I sort of swing the other way."

Cause he's a nice kid, and I don't want him getting upset over dumb things I think I'm gonna let him know that's what I meant and not "I... um... I have to wash my hair.... every night... all night... forever."

Not sure when Heidi comes back.

Also, we'd gotten bad news from Siri's doctor. Mom pushed for a new orthotic to be made, one that would only fit in her shoe, thinking that would allow her leg to strengthen. Unfortunately, according to Doctor Shue? Schoo? Well it sounds like "Doctor Shoe" which I think is awesome since he's working with Siri's feet. Anyways... he says this will speed up the deterioration of Siri's right foot. Her arch is coming down and her foot to the ankle is curving out wards. He gave it a rough 5 years before her foot collapses completely as it is now. Even if she were to get cured that foot is still going out.

Mom is still going to try the new orthotic. This makes me very nervous. Her being able to walk is I think what's kept her alive all these years.

Good news though. They're starting human testing for the MECP2 cure... thing.

I'm guessing that means initial testing has gone well. This makes me confident in my initial 2013 time for the cure to be ready. Though human testing generally takes years and years, Rett Syndrome research is being shoved forward at light speed due to thousands upon thousands of desperate and angry parents, and the lovely Julia Roberts.
