I can't sleep, and I've been wondering about this for a while, so I thought I'd make a poll.
I want to know, when you're reading fanfiction, is there anything listed in the warnings or summaries that can be a total deal breaker for you? Definitely what squicks you, but also, is there anything that you're just NOT interested in reading? For example, dub-con squicks me so I avoid that like the plague, but I also stay away from het and established relationships.
My little disclaimer is that we've ALL read stuff that was not necessarily our "thing," so if you normally skip AU's, but you did really enjoy that one where [insert really cool AU plot here] then you should STILL check that you avoid AU's. Hell, I can name 2 Mpregs that I love, but generally speaking...
Also, I obviously couldn't include EVERY warning EVER, so I mostly used stuff that I see coming up a lot. If I forgot anything, please feel free to comment.
