SPN and What? Sara's using LJ?

I know its been a while since I've posted anything [despite the fact that my last entry said I was back :X] and even longer since I've reviewed and episode of SPN. But tonights episode was so frustrating that I couldn't keep it to myself. So here I am.

I do want to start this off by saying that Jared and Jensen have never looked better. Sorry, but it's the truth. Ok...

The way this ep started out was SO promising. We had the little teaser, the brotherly banter, and a spooky case that was obviously much more than it seemed. Except that it wasn't.

In the beginning I was reminded of some of the really great episodes from the first and second seasons where it's just the two brothers on their own and they work a case that scares the crap out of me, and then there's some twist at the end related to the demon. In reality this episode was scary for maybe 2 minutes, resolved at about the half way point, and had NOTHING to do with ANYTHING related to the demon!! YES Dean finally admitted how scared he is but that is not a good enough reason to devote and entire episode to nothing.

There was so much potential with that girl, I thought she might take on a role similar to that of Charley in Bloody Mary or Sarah in Provinence [minus the love interest]...I was, ofcourse, severely disappointed.

ALSO the "then" clip in the begining refrenced Lilith, making me [and probably you as well] think that SHE might be responsible for this whole thing. Ofcourse she wasn't.

I love Supernatural, I really do. And last weeks episode was really funny, but I want SOMETHING TO ACTUALLY HAPPEN!! It didn't feel like they had earned their little reflection moment at the end because they hadn't actually accomplished anything. I LOVE their little heart to hearts but only because they're rare and special and usually come at the end of long, grueling, near-death experiences.

Ugh, I dunno. I just hope next week's episode brings either plot development or some really, REALLY scary shit.
