Ok, if I could have one Supernatural-related wish, it would be that I was not into this damn show and I stumbled upon it sometime during the summer of 2008. I can NOT take this fucking suspense!

For as much as I bitched about Ruby over the summer, after tonight's episode I actually like her. =P

The new bits of information about Mary are really interesting though, but as usual it raises more questions than it actually answered. I'm still excited to see where they go with it though.

Fun fact about me and Ruby. A few days, maybe a week before they announced the two female recurring characters, I was having a discussion with some fellow fans about how we wanted to see some kick-ass girls on this show. [Because let's face it - where ever you stand on the Jo thing, you have to admit she did not kick anyones ass.] So when I found out about Ruby and Bela I was actually excited.

Most people have said it and I have to agree that my biggest problem with this whole adding new characters bit is less Sam and Dean screen time. Hopefully that'll change though...

I can't wait to find out more about Mary! They will most likely drag it out all season, but still, I'm excited.

I like the idea of Ruby, it's Katie Cassidy that's killing it for me. I like that she's a demon. If she wasn't a demon, I probably would be like, "Eh, she's okay." I just think Katie is so wooden and 90% of her lines she delivers with these come-fuck-me eyeballs and since I don't see any chemistry between her and Jared...kind of ruins it for me.

I really hope she grows as an actress working with Jared and Jensen because the Ruby character has a lot of potential to be good if they do it well.

I complete agree about Katie Cassidy. I'm cutting the girl a lot of slack. I guess...I dunno, I had really low standards set because of everything eberyone said over the summer, I kind of expected her to suck. And she does not suck as much as I was afriad she might. And I do really like the idea of Ruby, so hopefully Katie will step up her game.

Hee! I discovered it about six weeks ago and tore through Seasons 1 and 2 in about a week. Utter crack!

I KNEW something was up with Mary, but this is very interesting because Sam was investigating deaths that happened in '01 and '06.

Oh! I missed the fact that those deaths were so recent. Hmmm. That changes things some, makes the whole "they didn't know about this" a good deal more plausible.

Hehe, yeah I got into it around Playthings so I could watch all of S1 and the first half of S2 and I didn't have to wait to find anything out. It was awesome.

Yeah, I'm thinking a lot of it happened right before John left or during the time he was gone, so it wouldn't have been hard for him to hide it, especially if it had to do with Sam. And I dunno...I guess I can sort of see how it never came up for them to even think about her all these years, but I hope they explain a little more about why they don't know anything about her.
