Locked my keys in the car, turned my laundry pink. Never brought on the end of the world though.

I'm back! [In black...] Hopefully for good this time. Sorry, I'm just easily overwhelmed and obviously when that happens the internet is the first thing I cut back on. Hopefully I'll have some more free time now though. I'm not going to try to recap the past two months because they were pretty boring and why would I do that when I could talk about SUPERNATURAL!!

The spn_nyc party was awesome. Purple nurples + tequila is always a good idea! The goodie bags were so cool [thank you Meri] and the Metallicar cookies also rocked [props to Fran]. Unfortunately, when it came time to watch TMS, the bar had gotten kind of loud and we couldn't really hear anything. So we just admired the pretty. And noone [cough me or Meri cough] was able to get emo, so it worked out. All in all it was a great time, and anything is made better when you bring a bunch of fangirls together and get them drunk. :D

So now I'm going to attempt to briefly talk about the various SPN things that have come out lately, obviously starting with the premeier.

3.01 The Magnificent Seven
I loved this episode. I thought it was a great way to start off the season. It was really fast paced and exciting, and I'm personally not all that interested in demons.

There were some really great fucking lines...pretty much everything out of Dean's moth was amazing. And Sam in the beginning with the knife - completely priceless!

I really love that we've got devil-may-care!Dean back, because he's awesome. I really missed the whole "no chick flick moments" Dean from S1 and I like that were getting to see Dean acting like that again. Also, it'll be even more fun when he breaks and realizes what he's done.

Ruby seems cool so far. I don't really like her hair, I think it's too overly done, but other than that I like her.

I'm gonna talk about it, because it seems like everyone else is - I think it's awesome that other hunters are blaming Sam and Dean for opening the gate. It kind of is their fault. I don't like that there are so many other hunters though...I hope we get some episodes that go back to Sam and Dean on their own in the backwoods of America. And don't get me wrong, I love Bobby, but I dont want to see him in every episode.

Oh right, the plot. I though the idea of the seven deadly sins was cool, although I really wish that we had gotten to see all off them in action...we didn't get too much of greed or wrath.

Overall, great episode, great way to start the season off, I think. I can't wait for next week! Oh also, I really love the new opening. I like that they change it every season.

Really brief on other SPN Stuff:

Nevermore
I liked it a lot more than I expected to, tbh. The plot was kind of predictable and not the most intresting, but it was fun to read. I did have a few moments of *cringe* Dean would never say that, although I don't remember the exact quotes. It wasn't perfect, but I think he did a pretty good job.

The SPN Book of Monsters, Demons, Spirits and Ghouls
I have mixed feelings about this one. I thought it was really cool to have it narrated by Sam and Dean, although I wish it had been a little bit clearer about who was talking when. I feel like it was a great idea that they only executed half-heartedly. It was interesting, but I wish it had a little more humor to hold my attention. One thing that I really didn't like was the way it just sort of ended without any final words from the boys. It felt very incomplete to me, I was really expecting some kind of "Well, now you know, be careful" or something.

The Official Companion S1
I loved this book! I guess I was expecting it to be kind of lame, but really honestly is a very valuable companion to S1! He went so indepth, looking at each episode from so many different angles and providing all those little factoids...if you haven't bought this one yet - buy it NOW! You won't regret it. It was so interesting and a really great look at S1.

Origins 4
This doesn't really deserve its own section because I don't have all that much to say about it. Once again, I can't stand the style of the artwork. I really crave detail and clean lines. I thought the story was kind of interesting, with the hellhound and everything, but I was kind of thrown off by all the John/Mary love. I mean, obviously they had sex, but Idk...maybe I just don't like het... :X

And obviously the DVD was awesome. Ok, so I guess that's about it. I'll try not to fall off the face of the Earth again.

Oh also, I finally made a myspace! It's pretty boring, but you should friend me anyway. http://www.myspace.com/comet260
