So heres the scoop:

Yours truly has been chosen for orders to Marine Air Group 26 out of Marine Corps Air Station, New River, NC. This is a a group of helocopter sqaudrons that deploy for 4 to 7 months at a time. Recent deployments include Afghanistan, Iraq, Asia, Japan and Kuwait. Basically the shittiest places on the face of the earth.

This is the plan. July of 2006 I will leave Italy for good. I will be coming home. I will probably take some leave to come say hi. I have to be in North Carolina by August 14th. That is when start Field Medical Service School. FMSS is a seven week, training and physically intensive program to get me ready to serve medically and physically with the marines. I graduate this October 6th. I report to MAG-26 on October 7th. Hopefully I will be able to take leave to come home for xmas. Then, in February 2007, I deploy to, where else, IRAQ. I will be issued an M-16 assault rifle, a 9mm Baretta, and Desert Warfare Cammies. Ill be "in the shit" flying in helicopters and then jumping out, shooting a bit, grabbing an injured marine or two, saving their lives on the way to the fleet hospital. Thats pretty much my life after that for three years. I hope everything goes well. I am very nervous, but also a little excited.

On a good note ALL ARROWS POINT TO ME COMING HOME THIS SATURDAY FOR LIKE A MONTH!!!! I want to visit everyone!!! See you guys soon.
